The smite meta is getting ridiculous

So I just had this game where the entire team had smite.. you know when in loading screen you kinda chuckle because back in the days, if you took smite in lane it automatically meant you were severely gimping your dueling potential.

Now add Challenging smite to the champion. So now they get a free 20% damage reduction for a whopping 4 seconds. But no good sir, I have ignite! I will still outduel them! Nope, they get a free 54 + 6 × level true damage over 3 seconds while trading. That means that after 2 or 3 auto's they have already outdamaged your ignite.

But ignite has much lower cooldown than challenging smite! Oh wait, 210 seconds cooldown vs 75 seconds.

But they have put 850 gold into a useless lane item!! Again wrong, the smiter just goes to the jungle and smites a camp, going into lane with a level advantage. Perhaps recall early and miss a couple CS but with XP and gold advantage. They can do this whenever they go back to buy.

Then enter the final nail in the coffin.. item 3931 . This item (when stacked) is so broken it's beyond ridiculous already. Of course Riot will never admit that but that doesn't make it less true. Every champion is balanced around numbers and they just release this item without even considering the consequences. Champions like Fizz Irelia Kayle MasterYi Vayne Vi Volibear aren't supposed to proc their on hit counters so often. To add insult to injury they even gave it a magic damage proc. So champions like Fizz Vayne can just kill you in 4 autos with no itemization to counter it.

It just means I dodge queue every time I see these champions because it's getting out of hand. So please Riot fix this mess :S

Then you go and look at the statistics of the new "broken" item, and realize it really isnt broken at all.

You also imply laners could even gain access to that item within 30 minutes, while maintaining a lane.

nothing is free you lazy ass people. every time you decide to take some thing over another you give up a power you could have had for a power you want. ignite had its time (and its still going on) teleport had its time it is heal's time now and smite is picking up. when you decide to take some thing you take it with a strategy to use it.

On top of that Sated Devourer pretty muich screws over jungle balance. Either your jungler can use that item, or he's downright useless and will use to the enemy sated-dev jungler...

don't forget when smite is stacked at 2, you get another 10 seconds in, -4 seconds, it can really be up in 6 seconds again. so 20% for reduction + bonus dmg for 8 seconds over the course of 6 seconds. sounds balanced to me.

and you know what i love about it, everytime they reintroduce FF, ww goes from trash to caner because his ult is fking retarded.

1000+ true dmg tho, wtf? I was not under the impression true dmg was meant to be used this way, rather a rare thing b/c you can't do anything to mitigate it. :/

I really wish they had not put this item in the game, it absolutely throws off the jungle in the same way Cinderhulk and that jungle item that did the same shit last season did. That bans are based around an Item rather then _kits _of champions seems like a bad thing.
