Please no more knockups/knockbacks

Just read about the upcoming Sion changes. Another champ with knockups and knockbacks. What's the point of the tenacity stat when every champion released or reworked gets knockups or knockbacks, sometimes even multiple in the same kit?

Let's iterate: Sion - Q: aoe knockup, aoe stun, E: aoe knockback, R: aoe knockup, aoe stun Aizr - E: aoe knockup, R: aoe knockback Gnar: R: aoe knockback, aoe stun Braum: R: aoe knockup Vel'Koz: E: aoe knockback Yasuo: Q: aoe knockup, R: aoe knockup

So the past 6 champions all have aoe knockups in their kit, which can't be reduced by tenacity. Please Riot rethink your champions before it's too late and all released champions will have the generic 'gapcloser+cc, % max health damage, ranged harass skill and aoe knockup ult' kit.

IMHO it's time to either downscale uncounterable cc , but mostly Displacements, as most form of suppressions are channeled and easy to counter by interrupting the "suppresser" (Malza, WW, Urgot).

Either they make knockback time affected by tenacity ,or they add a summoner spells that make champions able to ignore displacements for a brief time. Think of it as a sort of pro-active cleanse summoner 1 .

Yeah, just finished a game as Olaf against a cc team. You got 2 options for him during his ulti: either get damage and get done in or get tanky and get ignored. He becomes useless fast either way.

Sion is a relaunched champion, not a new one; if you want to count reworked/relaunches, you forgot Viktor, who gets a displacement with his upgraded W. Also Soraka, who doesn't have a displacement CC, as with Cassiopeia, Karthus, Nidalee, Rengar, Xerath. I don't think Skarner and had any changes to the CC he already had, though I could be wrong. Gragas still has his E and R which function more or less the same as they did pre-rework. Not sure how far back we're going here.

Also Sion's E only knocks back minions.

i like knockbacks, but they should end early if a champ hits impassible terrain, IMO. Tenacity should reduce the knockup times, it's the exact same thing as a stun.

so it's been 2 months since I made this thread and yet more knockups are being released into this game. Might as well call it League of knockups lol
