Dynamic Queue is the WORST thing Riot could have ever done in the history of League of Legends!

Ready 2 B Blamed··4 votes·4,740 views

Why is dynamic queue a thing?!?! I cannot comprehend the idea behind this! I mean people are like "Hey you were assigned mid go mid! I am fucking higher pick I am not gonna listen to something as useless as this crap. If you are higher pick I will respect your authority to get the role u want. But do not use dynamic queue as an excuse to complain about not getting the role "riot gave you" because I will just not give a single shit! It's even more ridiculous than calling roles, it's just so stupid. It's literally RNG that decides whether or not you win the game. Ever since dynamic queue started it's literally been a shitstorm. Normal queue came back and I was winning games like crazy, climbing the ladder just fine with normal teammates. Yes, still quite a handful of trolls that's league! Still worked a hell a lot better than having a system that is simply an aesthetic made to empower these trolls. The only good thing that came of this was the way bans work. And it's not even a big deal, it was just a nice change that fixed a small problem that trolls tend to do (1st pick trolls).

Why is dynamic queue so shitty? Because you can go up against a team of people queued up together? No! That was the last of my worries. It's when your soloQ and the rest of your team is dynamic Q. They are gonna trashtalk you. ENDLESSLY! Whether you do good or not doesn't matter.Prepare your anus. It's even worse when they play god awful themselves! Like, I have been through so much shit today. Almost as much as an entire seasons worth of playing this game. This is the worst part about dynamic Queue.

What else? When you have to pick your roles. I actually thought this would be OK and it really wouldn't affect the game. I WAS WRONG. I think people don't really think this is law but like I said they use it as an excuse. Not to mention, when you simply ask for the role. (JUST ASKING) Prepare your anus cuz they are gonna fuck you in the ass for picking a secondary. Doesn't matter which, your just fucked. Simply because you didn't get your main role and you got whatever secondary it is you got. "Hey can we trade roles please? I main jungle" "No, stfu you chose that secondary role" "Well, I mean I chose fill because I didn't have much of a choice" "If you can't play another role, don't play ranked! You fucking scrub!" I am so sorry I do this thing that seems to be strange to a lot of people called MAINING A ROLE! "WTF is that shit!?!?" I know it's like weird right? What is that?

It's when someone prioritizes playing one specific role. "Oh! But your not good at other roles? What a fucker!" I mean, I am decent in most cases except adc. I just don't like playing those roles simply because I cannot carry in those roles, not as much as in jungle. I just can't... That said, am I unwilling to play those roles? No, not entirely. I will play them if you said player took jungle being higher pick order. Just don't question my pick... Even though, I generally play meta picks anyways. Point is: DON'T BE A FUCKING DICKWAD! You got jungle at the end of the day, stop being such a prick!

What's worst is that your playing SoloQ. You are all alone in this shit. I know people have suffered through horrible occasions when playing league and I mean emotionally. I have played league for years and I understand what this feel like, I mean I never was in a critical state or anything I can more than take what these sons of bitches say or do. I mean that's just the internet in general but I mean, this is something that can really fuck someone up. Some people played ranked for fun, more or less. Why? Because normal Queue you can end up with the 4 players queued up together and they just go HAM on your ass. Ranked you couldn't do that, till now. Essentially, ruining ranked as a safe haven. To all you fuckers about to say "Ranked isn't for that! Ranked is serious shit!" Dig out of your asshole right now. I take this game as competitively as much as the next guy, but realize there is more important shit than a fucking video game.

That's all there is to it really. I honestly didn't expect "dynamic queue" to be this BAD. I demand this to be reverted because this is just horrible. You thought League of Legends couldn't be more Hellish, Riot says: Guess again little bitch! =D

remember when we had people whining about not being able to win games because they were forced into a role they couldn't use very well? there's less to b*tch about now but people still whine.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

I never complained about this before. I respected pick order even if it got me a loss from time to time. But I do not want to be guaranteed a loss literally 99% of my games, just because of what seems more like an aesthetic than an actual system. If people complained about it, they were stupid. Plain as day.

Jorencice1 votes

Wow 99% huh. That's weird I get my main role at least 90% of the time.

And my freind who is a mid main has gotten it about 80% of the time

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

Lucky you, do you main support or something? lol. Can't get my role for the life of me.

Unlucky Number72 votes

You never complained about it but a large part of the community did. They wanted a guarantee that they got a role that they were good at. teambuilder fell short because it was too restrictive, so riot came up with this. This is far from an aesthetic choice, it is an actual, official system to assign roles to players based on their preferences which decreases wait time, and improves matchmaking.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

Yes it's clearly not an aesthetic that says "THIS IS YOUR ROLE." Despite the fact that literally anyone play that role if they so felt like it. Also, improves matchmaking? decreases wait time? There's close to no difference in wait time if anything it became more inconsistent. I used to get games almost instantly and now it takes like 20- 30 seconds. Matchmaking has been absolutely horrendous for me incase you didn't notice. What really was impacted in terms of this sort of thing was high elo wait time. High elo people literally have to make fill their secondary if they wanna get a queue in under 40 mins. ( this is like d2 to challenger) maybe even lower.

i don't see how it's aesthetic if it's enforced. You can get reported and punished by ignoring your role assignment. If anything pick-order is "aesthetic" because right couldn't enforce it or dole out punishment to people who didn't obey pick order.

The inconsistency in wait time is because of the discrepancy in role popularity. It's a cost of people getting to choose which role they want to play.

as a bronze-silver player i can't comment on wait time for the higher elos. The matchmaking down here is great and the wait times are near nonexistent. In regards to high elo matchmaking I can only go by their statement that they want to use the new system to improve wait time and matchmaking for higher elo players. If there is a problem I suspect it's because of the complex algorithm they must make to take a player's skill level into account and the difference in skill between a player's main role and their secondary role.

riot said that they might decouple the ranking for a person's primary role and a person's secondary role, so you could be a gold support, and a diamond jungle. would you be in support of such an idea?

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

To put it simply; their idea is to essentially "Boost" the role assignment is to increase the possibility of giving a player his role based on how good they are with their 2 roles. To do this they would have to give a sort of ranking kind of like how they do in Lolskill.net I suppose. Theoretically, it is a good idea but I wonder how they would manage this. Of course if you are matched with someone that is better than you at that role then they get that specific role. I can only imagine this would seem very difficult to accomplish but if I had to pick an answer. I'd support it.

Dynamic que and new champ select are different.

reasons I like new champ select. Get to pick what role dont have to get stuck with role dont want. Downside: its a skill to play every role and fill.

Personally think dynamic que is just a stupid load of crap just like all the other higher elo players.

Cant tell your solo rating off of dynamic que. Just wait for only solo que to come out in a couple weeks.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

I guess you are right. I still don't like the new champ select. The only thing they did change was the bans, which I said I liked. But I don't like that you have to choose your roles. It's riot forcing you to, essentially, lose. I mean you can say "I play all roles averagely" Bruh, your gonna get rekt by the enemy if he mains the role. Yes, I main jungle. I shouldn't have to choose a secondary role. I mean, it would be fine if the chances for you to get your primary role were higher than your secondary. But I hardly ever get jungle. What do you mean by "Just wait for only solo que to come out in a couple weeks." ? Anyways, really I just think it's a way for trolls to twist the rules for them to complain.

ModWulf Helhammer3 votes

Learn to play one other role mildly proficiently, at least not going to lose everytime. Now queue up as jungle and that role each game. Problem solved

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

Not really. I have been playing jungle for years I know what to do, I know how to play it and I know my match-ups. It's not like I can't learn another role or even that I don't know how to play another role well. I support very well and I do sometimes win with it, if I am lucky with the team, that is. The thing is, I have to be able to 100% carry each game. If I can't do that, it's just pointless to even win. It's not pride or anything like "I have to do this on my own" It's just soloQ. Can't trust my teammates to carry at all, if you do your gonna lose 90% of your games. Unless Rito gave you luck of the Gods and you somehow match with pro players every game lol.

ModWulf Helhammer2 votes

If that's your mentality, you're not going to get anywhere in this game. Sometimes you have to accept that you aren't the hero of the game, and you need to play that tank that will just soak up all the damage, and probably die. But you did what your team needed.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

That's not called being a hero it's called being a realist. I am not gonna be a "tank" for any soloQ team. If I was in a ranked team, sure I damn will play that role because I trust my teammates, but the fact of the matter in soloQ is that you have to assume everyone is gonna play bad. It's just believing in the worst case scenario. Also, I have gotten very far with this mentality, if only Riot didn't change the game in ways that punish players for playing this way Despite the fact that players don't play like a team to begin with, at least not a coordinated team. That's why LCS and soloQ are 2 completely different games!

ModWulf Helhammer2 votes

And again, if you refuse to trust your team, to cooperate, to work together for a better strategy, then you won't get far. A good player needs to be able to play well together as a team.

Why do you think TSM, arguably one of the most talent stuffed teams this split, had a pretty bad first game? Because they hadn't gotten time to play together as a team.

Individual talent can take you up the ladder, but it will eventually hit a ceiling, where the other team is good enough that they can ignore your personal skill, and prey on the weak links created by your team as a whole.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

You seem to have this idea that I do not work with my team? I do. I guess it's more accurate to say I am typically the shotcaller and I try to direct the, who I like to call NPCs, that is my team and I try to do my things the way I do it, it works. Also, your bringing in LCS... Didn't I just say they were 2 completely different games? And do you think I am the only one that uses this mentality? Countless other players do it too. Including Nightblue3, Meteos (both junglers btw) Your mentality seems to be: Hey ill play according to the team, what do you guys want? Player2: MID OR FEED. Player 3: Top Player 4: IM TOP YOU %%%GOT STFU! Okay guys, I'll fill. You come in a non-toxic player and 3 minutes into the game your arguing along with these bozos and playing the blame game because you look at them as players. Just focus on yourself, it's literally that simple. I'd rather know that the reason I lost the game was because I made mistakes instead of blaming my team for them making mistakes when I should expect them to make ALOT of mistakes.

Arakadia1 votes

You sound like you had uncooperative teams and have since given up. You sound like ancient China. They believed they were the center of the organized world, that they were the only civilized and ordered people....

BluePolarizer1 votes

you are obviously having problems shotcalling because I see a plat badge for s4 and a gold badge for s5. That means your strategy was obviously not good enough to keep you in plat. Maybe you should've listened and learned from your teammates who were climbing.

I mean, after 3+ losses in a row I'd realize that I'm the problem and that I need to be learning. You seem to have a problem with that.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

Something went wrong in the website, go to lolking and you will see it says "s4 diamond". Anyways, the point is that I do make my own mistakes. However, there were reason as to why I couldn't maintain diamond, in which I am not gonna bother explaining. Your obviously just here to flame or something.

Arakadia1 votes

Teams can have coordination and it sounds very much like you wanna be the hero. You don't like Riot changing the game in ways that punish you for playing this way.

Arakadia1 votes

As long as your not matched with incompetent monkeys who feed like a mother to her child, you don't need to carry everygame. You sound way to competetive and seemingly arrogant. If you have 3 decent people and maybe a weak and not so good player, you should be fine. You don't need to carry every game.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

"As long as your not matched with incompetent monkeys" That's kinda the issue. If I am playing well and my team is good, good we still win anyways right? I am not gonna risk losing a game just for the nearly impossible possibility that my team is good. Also, you try to act like there's a toxic side to my mentality. It really isn't at all, i'd rather play the game and learn my own mistakes than pay attention to the mistakes of others. It is as simple as that. You think I sound like i've given up? Hardly, I just understand soloQ. You sound like those players who thinks that toxic/bad players don't exist and you can win every game with "Team effort!". No... just No. Also, I am sorry, were you offended by curse words that are there not even to offend you? This is league and I know I could be more diligent with my words but I am sorry for assuming that people who play this game don't care if I add "curse words".

  1. Why would people endlessly torment you in dynamic Q? Because they can NOW and they will, Maybe read the post? Just mute everyone? Sure I can do that and I do. Does that stop them from how they play/ping? Don't think so.

2."Why are you playing ranked if you can't play other roles" One of those hypocrites I see... Lol. Read the post and there you have your answer.

  1. I don't write this so people will agree with me. I mean if I called you out on acting like a saint who is passively aggressively taking his shit out on me, you won't agree with me there. If people agree with me, wow! nice. There is some players with enough common sense. Most of the players here, won't see what I am talking about because they are arrogant and toxic. That is just a fact.

  2. Single bad game? I've had many bad games since dynamic Queue went up. The transition from normal queue to dynamic was hilariously bad for me. Also, I think if you read the post maybe you would understand what I am talking about because it just seems like you glanced over this, looking over where it seems like "Oh, he's acting toxic I better go and sound like a smart-ass!"

Arakadia2 votes

That title bait tho...

  1. Why would people just endlessly torment you in dynamic Q. They can do that in any Q. Just mute eveyone if you want. Verbal and mean language is part of League not Dynamic Q.

  2. Why are you playing ranked if you can't play the other roles? You should be able to play every role. Maybe your great at jungle, but you get support. You cant carry as support (Or atleast assume support isnt fun and its impossible to carry with), but that doesn't mean you shouldnt play it. If people flame you for asking politely to switch roles, then thats League not Dynamic Q. Every Q can have that experience.

  3. Maybe if you want people to agree with you and not get negative down votes on your post, you shouldnt rage in your post. You shouldn't curse so much, make up a pretend conversation where people rage at eachother, and insult the readers. Calm your tits.

  4. It sounds like you had a single bad game, got so worked up, and made this post.

Twiggles2 votes

It's literally RNG that decides whether or not you win the game.

Because randomly getting first pick or last pick is better than semi-randomly getting one of two roles guaranteed...

Just find a secondary role and learn it as close to as well as your main role as you can. What if the person who was assigned your primary is actually better at that role than you are? Or what if his main champ in that role is better suited for the enemy team comp than yours? You don't need to be the superstar carry every game. Sometimes someone else gets to be, and that's okay. Don't pick a secondary role that you aren't prepared to play.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

Not going to answer to a comment similar to one I already answered to. Read.

Twiggles1 votes

That's fine. You aren't obligated to respond to me.

Just like nobody is obligated to follow pick order now that a fairer and more efficient system is in place. :)

DrNova2 votes

This thread is dumb.

Unlucky Number71 votes

if you're last pick and you're forced out of your best role into your worst role than you don't get to pick. with the new queue system at least you can narrow it down to two roles. role assignment supercedes pick order now. pick order was an arbitrary standard that players used fairly decide contested roles but now you get to chose the two roles you most want. if you pick jungle support you will never get mid.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

That's all fine and dandy, but it's not fine and dandy. I'd rather have a chance to get my worst role by pick order than to get my "2nd best role" Literally 90% of my games now and lose because I am not in a position to carry. Because at the end of the day, I had a better chance at getting jungle in pick order than I do setting it as my primary role. Also, there's 0 reason to obey this new role assignment. It gives the player no control over what they get to pick. Pick your primary role and expect your secondary is what Riot's saying.

Unlucky Number71 votes

you can't learn to carry in two roles? I get the fact that you a proud to have polished your primary role to such a degree but can't you work up some effort to polish a second role up to the standard of the first? in the old system you had to be ready to play every position and that'll decrease effort at all five. now riot is only asking you to master two. you can't do that?

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

There is no mastering two. When you say "Master" That is like saying someone mains 2 roles. Which, I find nothing wrong when someone says it I think it's cute. But, you can only really main 1 role. Why? Because the idea is that you get better in that role and simply that role. Trying to be AS good in another role is not only incredibly stressful but it's gonna, using words you use, depolish your primary role. Also, I have my own opinions about the other roles. Not saying I wouldn't like to get better at one as I have tried and even made accounts dedicated to playing simply those specific roles, but that was mostly for fun and not stressing myself to learn the roles but learn them in a way that I have more knowledge in those roles rather than say "mechanics" I know a lot of adc match-ups and builds and same goes for top. You can say I am a very knowledgeable player, BECAUSE I main jungle. At the end of the day, the jungler should be the most knowledgeable. Sorry I went on a tangeant, but point is it's way too straining to actually "Main" 2 roles to the extent that I can carry most games on my own with that other role.

Unlucky Number71 votes

I understand your grievances. I will agree that under pick order you are more likely to get your main role. However, the problem of pick order is that it's more likely to force a player into a role that they a1. re simply not good at. With the role assignment, each player is guaranteed to at least be decent at their role. It'll help you when you get your primary role because you won't have to carry a worthless sod up the ladder, and if you get your secondary role you just need to hold down the fort. One thing that's similar in both pick order and role assignment is the fact that you can ask for a role switch. mind you people in both situations don't like switching roles because in both cases it's impolite, and a faux pax if you disregard pick-order/role-assignment and lock in your role anyway.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

I understand the system wasn't perfect. Still to the point, players that get assigned their main role... Don't actually main that role. That or they are just reallllllyyyyyyy bad and pretending to main it. I don't know I still cringe at some of the moments i've seen in league today. I don't necessarily think this system is all faulty. I just think that setting your primary role should not necessarily guarantee you get that role but raise the chances of getting it. If that were the case, I'd support that.

Even so, there's still the issue of people who WOULDN'T still support it as it is not as gripping as pick order. But yet again, players that assign (at least in my perspective) jungle. Don't jungle. They do it because they feel like it. It's patch 4.5 all over again...

Unlucky Number71 votes

you are grasping at straws. people don't pick their roles because they "feel like it," especially in ranked. They pick their two roles based on how well they think they perform at them. I get the feeling that the skill level between your first and second role is huge. I applaud the fact that you jungle better than what you rank at. However understand this. The new queue system is not meant to cater solely to your needs. The new queue has several purposes. 1). is to guarantee that the players get a role that they know that they are best at(to them). 2). decrease queue times. Riot learned this with team builder. when you give players the option to choose which role they prefer some roles are going to be so much more popular than other. and sometimes by pure luck only supports will queue up during a specific time period. The new queue has to balance everybody getting their preferred role with keeping wait times down. This comes at the cost of not getting your primary role but it's much better than waiting a half hour between games. I will agree with you that the role preference is wonkey. i main bot then support and i mostly get support, but i have yet to have a wait time of over 1 minute. 3). improve matchmaking, especially at higher elos. the Higher elos are prime examples of high wait times and unbalanced teams because of the scarcity of players. The new queue will take into account individual players and match them with people who are at lower elos up against similar teams to give them more game time.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

And I was about to agree with you on that and say that yeah it I get the idea. However, like I said not everyone has the intention to "win". Then... another problem just arose. First let me explain: I decided to duo with a friend to fix the issue of getting basically molested by assholes. I chose jungle primary and fill secondary. He chose bot primary mid secondary. I got mid... he got jungle. What? I am not making this up. Obviously we're trading roles but, I am having an issue understanding what happened...

Unlucky Number71 votes

in ranked everybody has the intention of winning. That's the purpose of ranked, to gain higher ranks. If they don't have the intention of winning their trolls and thank god they make up a minority of ranked players.

{quoted}

I chose jungle primary and fill secondary. He chose bot primary mid secondary. I got mid... he got jungle. What? I am not making this up. Obviously we're trading roles but, I am having an issue understanding what happened...

that sounds like a bug. you should report that.

Jorencice1 votes

Wrong. I know someone in master tier than can play mid, adc, jungle and support at a master level.

And I can play all 5 at a gold level.

Yes ALL FIVE.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

You do realize that saying that is merely opiniated. It doesn't mean he can actually play all roles at a "master" level. Also, wtf is up with people acknowledging masters as an actual level. That is just the silliest thing i've ever heard. "I seen him play all roles and do well or at least hold his own" Bro. I have played top and won that lane hard. I have done the same mid and even adc which is my worst role. Sure, maybe your friend does it more "consistently" but I can at least consistently hold my own for awhile (unless im against something way too cheesy). Does not mean I play any of those roles at a higher level than my standard elo.

Jorencice1 votes

Except he can play all roles (cept top)

There's no shame in not being able to play more than one role.

But saying others CANT is sheer folly.

Also masters is a tier. U know above diamond below challenger...

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

Acknowledging Master as a tier is like acknowledging plat 1 as an entire tier. Anyways, who said anyone couldn't play more than 1 role? Anyone can go play a different role. There's a difference between playing a role and having mastered it.

Jorencice1 votes

What? It goes diamond, masters, challenger....

IT IS A TIER

Also and?

You rarely got your role before now you have a way better chance.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

You do realize masters was made simply because it was horrible when you were D1 and you won a game and got 0 LP because you're MMR or some other shit wasn't high enough to break Challenger. That's essentially what Masters is. It's better to call it a systematic draw than an actual tier. Why does this matter lol?

Anyways no... I rarely get my role NOW.

Unlucky Number72 votes

Yes there is no reason to follow role assignment. However, there was also no reason to follow pick order. Both of these are arbitrary methods to assign contested roles among teammates. over time obeying pick order became the polite thing to do because there was not any better method to assign roles. However, it is well within the bounds of probability that in the old system a team will consist of no one capable of playing a decent support or jungle. with role assignment, it is becoming unlikely that the players are forced into a role that they can not perform at a decent level. the reason being, each player chooses which two roles that they prefer and can spend the time and effort more effectively at getting good at two roles. role assignment is a fairer distribution of roles than pick order was.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

TECHNICALLY, there is no reason to follow pick order. However, pick order gives the higher players authority to pick what they want over the bottom players. Sure, this sounds unfavorable but I can't complain. More so because even when I was at the bottom, higher pick players didn't pretend they could jungle or pick jungle just to essentially troll. But yeah the point is that: Lower pick players couldn't do anything against it. Whereas role assignment... What's stopping a higher pick player from just picking what they want? Not gonna lie, miracles have happened today where I did get jungle. Did players respect that? No. I thought "Well, I guess they have a right they are higher pick" I tried to masquerade that anyways and give the argument that I was assigned jungle. I remember doing this same thing once and I was attacked because I didn't follow role assignment but at this moment, who gets attacked just because they asked for the role they were assigned?

Me again. Why? It was a dynamic Q. As a soloQ player, I had literally no power in it. Frankly that would've been my 3rd dodge but no reason to keep on with that story, I think you get my point.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

Before you say "Man well maybe you were toxic and you deserved it" No, I always ask politely before the game "Can we switch roles please" Or something along those lines. I always try to keep my team of NPCs in high spirits so that they do their best. I hate it when players purposely tilt their team before the game starts, not because it ruins the game (although yeah) but because they play worse if they get tilted.

Unlucky Number71 votes

The discrepancy of how often people get their primary and secondary role is part of the reason why people are so testy about being asked to switch roles. maybe the person you're asking has finally gotten their primary role after 10 games, and they have no way of knowing if you are better at their primary role then you are.

Unlucky Number71 votes

{quoted}

Before you say "Man well maybe you were toxic and you desdeserved

You don`t sound toxic at all. You sound like someone whose having a tough time adapting to a new way of doing things. I can't fault you for that. I am sorry that the discrepancy in skill level between your first and second role is costing you so many games. I am sorry that the popularity of jungle is pushing you out of your primary role. However, I believe that the new queue as a whole is an improvement over the old system. You are guaranteed a role that you don't suck at. Troll s can be punished for stealing roles. Bans are split between players. And wait times as a whole have shortened. That said, this is not final installment. Wards skins and cromas are going to be added to the skin select. A version Will come out for blind pick. Improvement s to queue times and matchmaking are still on the way. A solo queue with no premades is going to go on the pbe soon. These are the change s that I know are happening. What I want to know about are things riot isn't sure about. Tell me,what do you think about having different rankings for different roles? Riot isn't sure about it, but they didn't deny that it might happen, and this seems like it'll fix your problem.

Ready 2 B Blamed1 votes

I guess I can't complain were these things implemented and done right. The only thing I can say is that I think you trust the players that play in this game way too much. I don't know how long have you been playing this game but trust me, they are not as cooperative as you think. There are more trolls than you think.

Unlucky Number71 votes

Been playing regularly since season 2. There are some trolls in the game but they are more visible than they are numerous.

Unlucky Number71 votes

no lower pick characters could still disobey pick order. no one, or very few people, pick roles they are bad at solely for the purposes of trolling other people.

{quoted} What's stopping a higher pick player from just picking what they want? Not gonna lie, miracles have happened today where I did get jungle. Did players respect that?

you can get reported if you do this. pick order was not enforcible, it is a social queue that can be ignored with no repercussions. role assignment is enforcible. Lyte has even said that it's possible to be punished for ignoring role assignment.
