Because if the reason was "its too strong", do they not realize colossus is actually stronger on any fighter/tank with CC and completely worthless on everyone else?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the power level of collossus, but what I don't like is how bulky fighters like

with zero cc is pigeon holed into taking grasp of the undying because that is the ONLY other option.

However they replaced it with something equally as one dimensional. You either have CC or you don't. And if you have CC you take Colossus without exception. if you don't have CC well, play someone with CC cause you gotta use Colossus.

Grasp isn't terrible on poke, tbh. Although those same champions could use CotC just as well.
