I think some juggernauts would be good for low-scope changes

namely Trundle Olaf Nasus who I think have solid kits and a well-established purpose but can be lacking in counter play/could stand to be more interesting. two of them have been in pretty rough spots for a while, too, and Nasus has been ok but it's hard to let him be good because of the nature of his kit

Trundle would like to see his Q changed so that the debuff isn't applied 100% on the first go and only refreshes with more, but let him reduce AD by a higher amount if he manages to bite you multiple times. also as a QoL, a more obvious indicator of who he's put his ult on, like how Mordekaiser 's head floats over you when he ults you, just to appreciate its impact a little better. makes him much stronger in extended duels but worse against people who

Olaf something with his W or passive would make me happy. the double AS steroid is redundant and you could probably just merge his current passive onto his W for a new one. something that encourages him to fight while low-health, like gaining increased MS moving towards enemies under a certain HP threshold, boosted damage vs champions when below 20%, something like that

Nasus i've been entertaining the idea of his wither getting its range back but having a karma-like tether to it, a cook time where you've got to stay in range before Wither applies in full, but leaving the range before it 'sticks' makes it fizzle out. so now he can threaten the back line and participate better in teamfights like he used to, but there's much more noticeable counterplay for melee and ranged champs to leave his range and then go back in during the downtime of wither, and I think this frees up a little bit of his power budget too

The Trundle suggestion would be pretty neat, though how would it interact with multiple targets? Like, for example, if Trundle bit the top laner, then bit the jungler. Would he be able to take ad /debuff ad from multiple targets and stack it up to a maximum amount of ad taken/ad debuffed?

Nasus change sounds a lot healthier honestly. I'm not a fan of the low cooldown, nearly instant heavy slow. Giving it back range gives him the chance to immediately impact more than just the frontline, but the tether makes it have counterplay.

that's a good question on trundle, I'm not sure what the interaction should be. ideally I'd like him to be most encouraged to stick to one person and whittle them down; maybe he can reduce the amount of AD of people indiscriminately up to a cap, but his AD will still cap as usual for Trundle?

possibly make the AD debuff duration scale up with how many times Trundle's bitten them, so if he's gotten you just once then it won't last long, but if he's fully stacked you down then any auto attacker will be really hampered for a decent chunk of time.

That could work. I'm wondering if a Vayne like mechanic could work, where he can try fully procing the Q on one target, but not on multiple targets at a time. Either way, sounds like it'd be a neat way to add some variety to how he uses his Q.

Kinda sad Volibear didn't get any love, he could do with being a bit more interesting.

I'm pretty sure he's slated for bigger changes down the pipeline

Yea, I remember reading that, though.. down the pipeline likely means in 2 years time XD

I'm excited for what they can do with a lightning bear. We need more lightning element in league

it's hard to make him interesting without bigger changes, he's got a kit even more simple than garen

Eh, it's not like the usual counter play to Wither isn't to pop your mobility spells and get away from him anyways.

With as poorly as he's been doing lately, I'm beginning to wonder if the attack speed slow on Wither shouldn't just be the flat max value.

i think he's very lacking in counterplay for melees and immobile champs in particular, but the tether lets people be able to react to him, and it lets us make Wither a lot stronger if need be

I just don't think it would accomplish what you seem to want it to, frankly. If they're an immobile melee character, they're already bad at running away from Nasus. If they have any mobility spells of any sort, they're already good at running away from him. Making it so that characters who have enough mobility can take advantage of a short window and in return negate Wither entirely just means it's useless against the class of characters Nasus most desperately needs it against.
