PSA: Surrender@20 (the website) Exists

For all of those who are still creating "lethality is terrible, why no nerf?!?!" or "damage is off the charts, this game is going to shjt!" threads, please make an effort to make sure Riot isn't actually fixing exactly what you are still complaining about.

Yes, lethality is overloaded rn Yes, damage in general is incredibly stacked atm

http://www.surrenderat20.net/p/current-pbe-balance-changes.html ^ this website shows you what current changes can be found on the PBE, which can be what to expect from the next patch. Yes, it is subject to change, but considering how close we are to next patch, we can assume this is extremely close, if not exactly what we can expect for next patch.

Notice: Damage nerfs across the board will effect higher damage-dealers the most (ie. lb, kha, etc) while also serving as an indirect buff for lower-damage dealing classes. These nerfs will also serve as nerfs for outlying champions for their individual classes (aka, poppy will be "nerfed" more than other diver tanks due to her outlying damage, which serves as an indirect buff for every other champion in her class).

You may disagree with ratios. "only a .5% decrease, that's neglible!!!" etc etc, but keep in mind that each nerf is an indirect buff across the game for others. Considering how much across-the-board nerfs and changes that are occurring next patch, especially with item changes and lethality, it's extremely difficult to be know the outcome of next patch exactly. Simply put: don't pretend to know everything, we can all only guess where next patch will place our favorite (or most hated) champion.

We can probably expect adjustments in further patches to "smooth the edges" per-say.

tl;dr: please look at surrender@20 (the website) before beating a dead horse relating to gameplay. Many recent posts that are complaining about issues are redundant because Riot has already stated that they have plans to fix what you're complaining about. In addition: don't pretend you know exactly how next patch will place anyone. Wide-ranging nerfs are also wide-ranging buffs and next patch creates a lot of certainty.

That is all, thanks :)

That's a terrible argument.

A nerf to all damage is a nerf to every champion except supports, which is nice but it doesn't change the fact that Lethality is still objectively the best stat and that should never be the case.

black cleaver is being adjusted to be not optimal for ad castors/assassins and youmuus is being nerfed to give less lethality. Put that + all the damage nerfs and I'd say damage is being tackled to a satisfactory degree considering it's their first go at it.

A nerf to all damage is a nerf to every champion except supports

That's not true. A jhin who is dealing 500 (theoretical numbers) is effected wayyyy more than a Sion dealing 100. A 5% nerf would be a 5x more effective on Jhin compared to Sion. Considering how a champion's "balance" is relative to every other champion in the game, a % dmg nerf to higher damage dealers is a buff to the same % nerf to low damage dealers, who focus more on diving/disruption.

Basically, adcs/assassins get hit by a % dmg nerf more than vanguards/disruptors who aren't meant for damage. A nerf to damage is essentially a buff to survivability, so we can expect champions who aren't meant to "kill" to be receiving an indirect buff due to these changes.

Does that make sense?

It's also important to remember that Lethality has a direct relationship with your Damage. A direct damage nerf is also an indirect nerf to the efficiency of lethality, which is probably why Riot has been hesitant on nerfing lethality directly this patch considering the damage nerfs.
