why fiora needs to be looked at

i understand she's a duelist, but come on. her vital point passive game isn't even fun or challenging.

if she gets a melee in lane against her, good luck to that melee. every time he goes up to farm its gonna be Q+vital. eventually they're gonna have to back off or get all in'd at 3.

then there's her ult which makes NO sense. let her keep the damage, but how in the fuck does it fit fiora thematically to give her an aoe 400 hp heal?

you're already punished with a 4v5 when she kills someone with her ult. why the fuck does her team also get a second wind heal that completely tips a teamfight in her favor?

also wtf are her cooldowns so short for. she can mitigate all damage/cc in a direction, point and click dash to either jump walls to escape or all in, AND she gets a free crit+slow on top of her mobility and %hp true damage.

Did you never play against her old ult?

Out of just wanting to bring this up. What made you want to bring this post about Fiora? I mean yes she has all of that but you do understand she has no real endurance. She capitalizes on other's mistakes. "Duelist" They win by going all in or counter play.

Edit* I'm only asking this cause your match history looking kinda sad with your top lane picks ;/

You can play around vitals y'know. Vitals make it incredibly obvious how Fiora is going to try to approach you, so you should always be able to react. If you are playing someone who has a hard time reacting to Q poke, and you can't afford to be just eating vital damage, you can always back out of range if you get a vital in her direction, because the next vital will always be pointed away.

Her ult's heal doesn't make the most sense thematically (though really very few abilities do - remember than Tryndamere the unstoppable barbarian king has the most cowardly in-game playstyle) but it is very important to her playstyle and making her effective as a melee DPS in teamfights. Its her secondary defensive tool, which is important for any melee carry to have, and it gives her a meaningful teamfight pattern besides "suicide into the enemy team and hope you take someone down with you". It allows her to not be so reliant on being fed.

Also her cooldowns are not low. Only Q is, and that's only if you hit someone with it.

for your first point, hav fun losing tons of farm avoiding her vitals that pop up every 2 seconds.

second point, take away heals balance

So you are saying right now, that if you played Fiora you would win your lane without question due to that heal?

Have you considered the possibility that you're just playing badly?

Way to latch on to the wrong part of the response. The important part of countering vitals is using them to predict how Fiora will move and play, not the vital resetting part. Vital resetting isn't something that you're supposed to walk away from the wave and lose farm to do, its something you do if its convenient - i.e. you walk into lane, vital pops up in Fiora's direction, you take a second to walk back a little then back into range, now the vital is pointed away from her.

What's important, and what you probably failed to capitalize on when playing against her, is that if you have a vital on you, its obvious that Fiora will try to proc it, and its incredibly easy to punish her for it on most normal toplaners (and if you are playing someone who can't respond to Fiora Q poke, you probably shouldn't be playing that champion toplane)

And if you want to take away her ult heal, you might as well take away the entire ultimate. If Fiora ults someone, it's only an incredibly marginal increase in potential DPS compared to just hitting normal passive vitals as they spawn.
