Duskblade is such a meme.
I love watching streamers play assassins and do litterally 0 damage in the early game and then all the sudden when they get that first item
its like kapow 1 shot everyone.

Yeah that extra 100 premitigated damage proc really 100-0s people kek

Its more than 100 damage past level 6.
Sorry, maybe 120 when you first get it. Whew spicy

I mean a level 6 ADC has approx 800 hp, so yah 120 is a decent chunk for an item that can multi proc. for example kha can get a triple proc if he comes out of a bush, AAs, ults AAs, ults, AAs. Decent damage.
Even besides the actual damage proc duskblade is a pretty op item and an assassin crutch.
It detects and blacks out wards and even when the passive isn't up shows you whether or not you have been spotted.
120 premitigated damage. You are aware that the damage on your toys isn't how much damage you actually do right?

Yah, I'm well aware.
A level 6 jinx would take roughly 90 damage after her base armour from duskblade. Thats still a decent chunk of damage. edit: Silly me forgot that lethality comes into play.
Level 8 kha with duskblade vs level 8 jinx. With sudden impact kha has 23 lethality. Jinx has 52 armour.
52 - 23 = 29. 29 armour negates 23% of damage.
Duskblade deals 150 damage at level 8. 150-23% = 115.5 damage
115.5 * 3 procs = 346.5
Level 8 jinx has 988 hp.
With sudden impact kha has 23 lethality. Jinx has 52 armour.
52 - 23 = 29.
That's not how lethality works lmao. Are you really here bitching about something when you obviously have no idea how it even works? I also love how you're jumping around trying to find the absolute best case scenario for your argument. Somehow we went from midlaners to a jungler vs ADC xD not only that but you picked the single one that can proc it multiple times to boost the number up even further lmao

I enjoy how instead of explaining how lethality works you just tell me I'm wrong. As far as I'm aware lethality scales with level and said amount of lethality ignores that much of the targets armour.

It's actually 140, so that's 40% extra than what you originally claimed( which was 100, and btw this is from testing on the PBE and I dunno the duskblade changes or if they were reverted). It negates 13 armor with the rest of your combo as well, so if the numbers WERE flat(Not saying they are, I dunno the formula, but this is just for clean numbers as an example), you'd be also doing about 52 extra damage with a full combo in addition to that 140 damage. Yeah, you don't do damage to tanks, but why would you go for tanks as an assassin? Your goal is to kill the enemy mid laner and ADC, not the tank. I play assassins(mainly AP ones but still). If I'm 3/0 vs a 0/3 Zed with more farm, I don't expect him to nearly one shot me from just one rotation of W>E>Q even though I have a seeker's armguard after he gets duskblade, but yeah it still happens.
yeah cuz assassins are just so easy to play. Just imagine they have to actually build damage before they can do as much as a full tank sejuani :O

I mean assassins are not difficult to play. Some are higher skill cap, like zed. But assassins like talon or Khazixs are quite easy to play.
I mean mechanically those are kind of easy, i mean relative to other assassins. Not like annie/garen easy, but ok. But to actually carry the game playing an assassin and not just be suiciding for kills takes a lot of experience and good judgement.
Like you're kind of taking it upon yourself to carry your team by picking the assassin, and if you do go in and die without doing some serious damage then you can easily throw the game. So I'd say that part is not easy... especially with things like ninja tabi, lulu, janna, tristana, varus crap in the solo q meta.
What's a meme is having someone with Duskblade come fight me when I have Iceborn Gauntlet and Ninja Tabi and their entire combo takes about 1/5 my hp while mine takes about 3/4 of theirs in the same amount of time. Lethality certainly is a meme to anyone with armor.
Personally I love it when an assassin gets that, roams top expecting to kill me, and does nothing as I tear them apart.
do litterally 0 damage
Why do people insist on using this word when they don't know what it means? I mean I get that your trying to exaggerate to help your point seem better, but it ends up just making your argument sound like trash and butthurt

I understand what litterally means. I am using it to exaggerate.
Welcome to the English language where people use words incorrectly.
Ex. "Yasuo is literally cancer"
I understand what exaggeration is, but you chose the word that's entire purpose is to denote that you're not exaggerating.
