Nasus should get buffed too

Right now, Malphite, Poppy and Riven are receiving buffs. If Nasus was way away from the meta competitiveness, now he's becoming a troll pick almost. For crying out loud Veigar is getting his stacks per unit killed increased, as if he needed it. Nasus wouldn't mind the same, especially since he's a melee immobile single target soft cc retarded pick.

I'm a Nasus main too and I feel your pain, he's really not good right now.

I honestly think he needs a rework, let's be real: his gameplay ain't exactly healthy. My fear of buffing him is you end up simply making him a wall of stats that can't be overcame, which is the wrong direction to go imo.

Nasus does need a buff because I think he has simply received too many soft nerfs. A lot of items he builds have gotten nerfed and the resolve tree for the most part stinks with his kit.

He does not need a rework at all just better stats and/or minor tweaks to his kit:

  1. He needs better scaling health or better base health. It is the worst among the juggernauts. It is highly noticeable since he doesn't build health items early.
  2. Lower the cost of items or make them more cost efficient. Items such as item 3110 is great on him but it is so expensive for what you get. item 3024 is probably one of the most cost inefficient items in the game: Low armor, CDR, and Mana for 1000 gold. Just a terrible early buy, but often an item that Nasus builds first. item 3075 stinks and this use to be a really good item for Nasus. Now it takes about 400 armor to make this item useable. The change to item 3102 was a bit of a nerf. It use to offer more stats and the shield did help with Nasus not getting CC'd. It is good to build early, but not on Nasus.
  3. Some type of tenacity based on stack count. Seriously, I am tired of heavy CC comps or even just having 2 heavy CC champions in a comp like Ekko or Lissandra completely shutting down Nasus. Especially since every mage is building item 3116. So basically even IF it is a low CC comp I STILL have to fight through often 2 champions with this damn item. Stacks and infinite scaling are irrelevant into a team where each champion has some type of CC. The games I lose the most often are the games where I hit 800 stacks. It means the game has gone on too long, I didn't take advantage of my power spike to take objectives and the match is close, meaning the enemy team is capable of dealing with me in an engage. Heavy CC comps just appear to be more common the higher I have climbed and it turns Nasus into a split-push only champion. Tenacity in general should be upped for items.

I really would take any small buff on Nasus. Most players that play him regularly are good enough with him to overcome A LOT of obstacles his kit presents: Shitty early game, only one damaging spell, and no gap closer.

No mobility, no hard cc too, too high mana costs and/or too low mana pool. I presented the whole topic with suggestion that his E (Spirit Fire) should get ''Grounded' effect along with it. It would fit his Shurima (sand) theme, that is impairing movement ability. Another possible solution - it could maybe slow towards the centre as quagmire (google translate op), we say it 'living sand' in my country. This could maybe be an empowered version of E only applying the effect while having the ultimate on. But yeah, simple stats buffs could do the work just as well.

I forgot about the mana costs. I would take even a minor buff such as mana per level scaling on him.

He hasn't been tweaked since the juggernaut update, and the buff was minor. Don't get me started about something incredibly minor like HOW NASUS STILL CANT STACK GP BARRELS. It is absolutely absurd that something that minor has NOT yet been addressed since the GP rework.

The thing with Nasus is that he has Godlike scaling so they need to be very careful with buffing him because he could easily go from "Oh Riot this champion is so weak plz send buffs" to "HOLY S**T RITO PLZ THIS CHAMP IS +6'ING MY ENTIRE TEAM"

He's honestly not very good late game

True that. Honestly nasus is a mid game champ who is only good late game if the enemies don't know how to deal with him. Or you TP flank the enemy backline with stormraiders.

Are you dumb

That's already happening with Gankplank, Anivia and many more. There are at least 15 indisputably better champions for top lane than Nasus, and that never changed for years. Even if overbuffed, a round of nerfs could follow, at least to shake up the things for once in years when it comes to Nasus.

Nasus is op as fuck my first game nasus I was against Darius and just Q Q Q and he died

I am sorry, the outcome of bronze 4 matchups has the least to do with viability of anything.

only if wither is nerfed to a 5% slow for 5 seconds.

5% slow for 5 seconds. Now also suppresses for 5 seconds. GG
