Part of the reason Mages>Assassins: Assassins don't have a Morellonomicon or RoA
Rod of Ages:
- Cheap (2700 Gold)
- Almost fully (93.52%) gold efficient immediately upon purchase
- becomes fully efficient 2 minutes after purchase
- becomes 150.68% gold efficient once fully stacked without the Catalyst passive
- Catalyst is lowkey busted
Morellonomicon:
- 112% Gold efficiency without either passive on purchase
- gives loads of mana for simply contributing anything to a kill
- extremely good build path
- gives 8 seconds of grievous wounds to wounded enemies as an afterthought
- early lost chapter is ridiculously busted
AD assassins simply do not have any "bread and butter" items that are remotely as strong as these two items. The majority of their items cost more and are less gold efficient. Not only do the completed items themselves suffer from this problem, so do the components. The value of the passives/actives is subjective, but in terms of raw stats mages simply get far more out of their first finished item than assassins do.
perhaps not cheap but it sure got a WHOLE lot more then either of those items
same price can literally make the mage wana uninstall
pricier but again this will "outplay" the entire mage roster
super cheap super efficient item to deal with any early mage
super expensive but it basically allows you to ignore their harass
this item will make you outplay anyone. no mage can afford to efficiently buy this.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
and actually win the game?
and you should not lose any trade or all in with any mage period.
Alex
because you might want to tell me what's the best between 140 mr and 200 armor, the mage will be able to destroy your frontline while you can't do this, you're forced to go to the backline and get destroyed by the adc
if you don't get destroyed by the adc, it's either the bruiser or the mage with void staff and their retarded 2000 damage+ combo
that built it against zed some games ago
.
with no downside to doing so.
<---Mages' only "defense" against AD assassins. It is also gold inefficient and its build path royally messes up their early game damage output, unlike
