Why can't Tahm Kench devour an enemy's Heimer ult turret?

It's all in the title. Heimer's smaller turrets you can devour and spit out, his ulted turret however you cannot...that doesn't make much sense to me

Seems fair to me, whenever a champion can negate another champion's ultimate ability with a basic ability it tends to ruffle peoples' feathers.

Here is my problem with that. Unless they changed it and I missed it, Syndra can pick it up and Sion can e it away. Just like they can do to Tibbers.

Hmm, then maybe Riot needs to fix that for Heimer. It's not fair to him if his ultimate can be completely ruined by basic abilities.

Maybe Annie should get the same fix too.

But what about the hundreds of other champions that can have their ults ruined by basic abilities?

Lucian can be stunned Skill shot ult? Movement spells there are plenty of more examples but the point is that there are already tons of champions that get their ults countered by basic abilities but they still do fine cause they play around it. Some champions may counter them but thats just a part of league.

Same should be with heimerdinger. Fighting a sion? Well then maybe you should not ult your turret and go for swarm rockets instead

Same for Braum and Sivir although at least Braum is a low damage threat and Sivir is short ranged and not very mobile, has 0 cc along with requiring better timing. These are examples where abilities that are defensive that negate an ability isn't so bad.

Now, despite what I said in response earlier. It is due to how Tahm's ability is described. He is unable to devour certain sized creatures, like Red and Blue buff. Donger's Turret happens to fall into that category for size.
