Riot changed the lore for summoners to no longer exist, so ergo neither should he.

It also sucks to play against him.

He was also an Apirl Fools joke who was meant to be taken down for good after the joke runs out.

But apparently this joke is still alive and kicking, not even on rotation or something, but permanently.

No champions ever should or will be deleted. You just can't delete a champion that's already been released.

Otherwise Azir wouldn't be in the game right now.

I'd say galio is a better example, with that rework they kept nothing from original galio

While I don't support what Riot did to Karma at all, they didn't necessarily 'delete' her.

By delete I mean straight up "we're removing this champion, the entire cast of LoL has gone down by one, have a good life."

I beg to differ. My main was recently deleted. Yes, he was deleted, not reworked. Galio was my favorite champion and they pressed the delete button just so they could replace him with something else. He only retained 2 things from his previous kit when he was reworked. He is a tank and he has an aoe taunt. Everything else was deleted including his appearance and personality.

Full VGU are pretty much deleting a champion.
