Anyone else losing interest in this game?

Like I'm not sure what to do. League has been my favorite game for years. The days when I'd come back after my junior year in high school and the released champion at the time was Zac I believe and just rage at the game because of how passionate I was. Nothing has changed from then to now. It's just that the game I've been finding lately to be very boring. Maybe it has to do with all the changes.

if I could do a timeline of all the champions I've played it would look something like this. 2013 Zac and Teemo. 2014 Veigar. 2015 I didn't play. 2016 TahmKench 2017 Yasuo,Leblanc,Blitzcrank. 2018 this year I'm playing a lot of Quinn.

It could be that I'm just outgrowing the game and needing to move on, or all the changes. I always loved the scaling runes especially on Yasuo. I found the bonus arrmor and magic resist was very fun in the late game.

Now Everygame is starting to feel more like a chore than something I'd do for fun.

well, all adcs i know, same as me, have lost interest completely, enemies have an assassin in team ? Dodge Q, enemies have lucian in team, dodge Q. Because all adcs ARE USELESSS GARBAGE NOW except lucian, if you do not get lucian, or do not go a rengar bot, you are fucked.

It's funny because I was playing Quinn top with item 3095 and item 3087. I was at 200 ad and only critting a Darius who had like 156 armor for 144 crit chance after the crit passive on item 3095. I got item 3031 which brought the crit chance to around 200ish and I was at 270 ad or so. Crit damage is now more useless on tanks than before the change. This game has turned into one shot meta where ability based champions are one shotting pretting much and the ADC role is now useless. I don't see Yasuo much anymore. I think slowly riot is going to lose it's fans. When I switched to lethality based build and built item 3095 item 3147 item 3087 item 3142 I was almost two shotting squishies. This game is just kiss ass on assassin mains and anyone with carry potential who relied on crit chance is now being raw dogged by pretty much every class but support.

If you want a good community and relaxing game try warframe. I've been playing it more then league this last month and its not bad. I'll still play league with friends now and again, but gunna wait for things to sort themselves out before I come back fully.

I am actually updating that now.

I've been losing interest lately. It's a shame Fortnite isn't my forte and Pubg is literally trash (I like to play it though, it's just sooooo buggy.) and no other game really has that 'stick' that this game used to have.

Honestly it's because if a fight breaks out and I'm not there, it's just already done with. Damage is wayyyyyy too high and it's just so bland. Honestly a fight should take around 25 seconds but now it's like under 7 seconds. But this is SoloQ- people WILL engage regardless if you're around. It's just that prior years you'd be able to get there in time to actually legitimately do something for the brainless.

Been losing interest in the game since 8.10 Jungle changes, only thing I like these days are ARAM/RGM, hoping sometime soon they fix their mistake called Scuttle crab "Mini-Objective"

Maybe you're just playing way to much. I mean your level 186, that's almost 100 more levels then me and I think I play to much lol. Take a break for a bit man.

Just a combination of too much play and age. I'm still enjoying it, started when I was 15 and I'm 21 now. I play consistently but in small bursts since playing too much of a competitive game will turn you into an emotional salt pile who overreacts to the slightest change in meta instead of accepting that the game has a billion components frequently changing and that it isn't always going to suit your specific tastes (Yet people who get to this point never seem to accept this). I haven't played PvP in 6 months since I've been working on my final university year and I'm now job hunting, but I've still been playing one bot game pretty much daily for my bonus and I'm enjoying it. I'll probably return to the odd PvP game once I get a job.

Game burn out is a horrible thing, since by the time you've realised it it's too late. For example I played Mount & Blade and Fallout New Vegas to death in my teens because I enjoyed them so much, but because I didn't balance my play I can't enjoy either for any length of time nowadays. I'm currently wrestling with my constant urges to play the Souls games because I'm trying to avoid burn out, but I think I'm too late there too.

Its probally an effect of how Riot balances the game.

No it does not have anything to do with changes to the game, it's within you, has nothing to do with the game at all

The bottles empty man there's nothing left

rage because of how passionate I was.

Lmao, other players sculpt figures, make comics, dive into skin lore, and draw art because they're passionate about the game. To each their own I suppose.
