5.5 Riot Please make up your mind

So much good and bad in one patch. This may be a bit long, but it covers a lot about this patch which in all honesty was much better than 5.4.

You kind of buffed Veigar (yea an extra .1s less reaction time definitely will help him). The projectile speed on his Q is actually pretty huge, but meh not what he needed. I had plenty of ease aiming it.

Then the nerfs to turrets. Hrm turrents aren't doing their job well enough past 10 minutes. Fuck it! Nerf them again! And on top of it lower their base tower gold value TROLLOLOLOLOLO. On top of that buff the minions to survive better for pushing towers. I know next patch lets make T1 towers do a base of 100 damage that otta show people to hide under them. (oh wait they already ramp up to like 150 when shooting someone with a randuins and about level 10-11)

Holy shit Riot do you want games to be over before the 30 minute mark. I mean Baron buff voids towers already, and dragon also makes them die insanely fast. Do you want come backs to be not possible again.

I mean people can already walk around under the lasers for a good 5s and only take 1/2 their hp from the lasers and the T2 towers are jokes (a whole 200 damage after full ramp up is def going to scare a champ out of a dive, lol no). On top of that made them squishier and easier to split push down.

Then there's Cinderhulk the one item tanks needed for awhile, but then you buff items that synergize with it too so you know force tanks down our throats more plox without even letting it adapt into the game. Not saying Cinderhulk was bad, but buffing things around it so hard on its release is how you get problems.

And welcome Xin Zhao to on the radar (because he wasn't a viable jungler apparently). http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/29790357#ranked-stats

The Varus buff was completely unnecessary and didn't address his problems at all. If he spammed it off it was for defence. Now if he charges it he gets rewarded for charging it (lol at that logic). Let's just make him feel like aiming his shot and upping the damage isn't enough compensation.

Trundle buffs are really hard to tell how much they will effect him. I feel like he may be pretty ban worthy now. He doesn't have the ramp up as much anymore meaning he will snowball hard and fast and stay that way. Urgot also made the radar and he has been in need of buffs to help him maintain anti-adc status. And I'm not quite sure Skarner needed more late game, he's already scary.

Nidalee got a love tap. I mean it does nothing to squishies (who she was blowing up with an average of 1.5k damage left over) and just made tanks take less damage for stepping on her traps.

Kassadin is now kind of viable for his role again.

So at least they addressed problems in this patch. Although I feel like they did make a quite a few problems with it as well, but at least it wasn't 5.4 problems.

Just pointing out unless im misinterpreting it, Veigar's buff to his E seems to be an even bigger buff than what he had on the PBE (which took the delay from 1 second, down to .75 seconds; this seems to take it down to .5 seconds) a full half a second delay difference is HUGE. Not sure if its enough to make his stun truly reliable, but its definitely a step in the right direction.

Worst case scenario they'll just buff him again if he still underpreforms.

On a side note, I don't think the Xin changes will really do much of anything (most notably the W change, to my understanding didn't he already have nearly top tier sustain even before the change?)

Xin didn't need changes. He was strong, but people underestimate someone who can powerfarm and sustain as well as gank hard. And for Veigar his cast time was about .1-.15s so he only really lost like .1s delay to the landing of the stun.

Meddler confirmed the cast time is .25 seconds. The notes say that the skill now starts on casting animation, instead of after it, which is already removing .25 seconds from the overall delay of the skill (1 second --> .75 seconds)

however the notes then go on to mention that the delay on the skill itself was lowered from .75 to .50 (making the total delay now .50 seconds), which as far as I know, didn't occur on the PBE.

Currently games that are sealed at the 25 min mark don't end before 40 min, in LCS. It's even worse in SoloQ. And the Inhibitor/Nexus turret change happen to be compensation for the defenders.

Either way, it sounds like you're complaining for the sake of it.

This. Teams can get such a big lead that there is little to no way to comeback, but have to wait 10 minutes to end the game just because of how powerful the turrets are. Also, there is nothing wrong with shorter games. I'd prefer a short game with meaningful gameplay than a stomping to get arbitrarily prolonged. This shouldn't hurt teams that only got slightly behind, the most it will do is lower the number of throws due to fatigue. Players will be able to play at their best for a larger % of the game.

You're underestimating Veigar's E buff.

idk why you are complaining about Varus, even with this buff he is still in a far worse position than Kalista and compared to other adc's he is still mid tier at best.

I never complained about it. I am just pointing out they are buffing him in areas he doesn't need changes. He needs them in his other abilties. His Q averages 800 damage full charge late game

well any buff for him is great for me since i main him so if i can get more full powered Q's off im content for now even though i personally wish they would buff the duration of his ult by a little
