stormraider's is incredibly underrated

the value that Stormraider's offers through giving you a heavy repositioning tool and what may as well be a slow cleanse is going far too unnoticed.

I take it on AurelionSol especially; it's far too useful to be able to burst someone and then turn tail and run, use my ult+Q for disengage and the speed boost to escape a dive, or just keep pace and run around people to pelt them with stars.

It's equally busted on the Juggernauts. Mordekaiser players have mostly decided it's mandatory on him, I'm seeing a lot of Nasus players running it now, but I think anyone who plays Darius and Garen should consider it, too. The sticking power is invaluable, especially when it gives you the ability to ignore any slows that they hit you with once you get on them. Compound it with Cleaver and DMP and nobody's getting you off.

also good on Velkoz who procs it easy with his true damage in combos.

try it out, guys. it's really good.

It's good for those who like the playstyle of it, but overall, it just has to compete too hard with Thunderlord's due to Thunderlord's extra damage.

I find it too unreliable.

It's extremely strong on low mobility champions who can reliably get that kind of burst out.

The key word there is reliable.

Champs like AurelionSol Chogath Mordekaiser and Nasus (I actually think warlord's is better on nasus due to it making him crazy difficult to kill) who can reliably burst and burst hard, but lack in-built mobility, will find it very useful.

It can be good on anyone, but frankly champs like Darius Renekton Trundle won't be served as well by it. Their damage is more steady stream, so they'll have a lot more trouble proccing it (especially against targets which aren't made of paper) and therefor get far less mileage. While Darius may be hated for his sudden burst damage, keep in mind that he has to ramp up to get that goal. Having to get 5 stacks / an R execute is a pretty long time to wait before he'll start seeing value from his mastery in a fight, and Darius really isn't that bursty before he gets his 5 stack / execute passive rolling.

i find if you won lane that the crit + warlords more damage persecond with out sacrificeing much life steal cause of your w and r on the tankiest champion you want to kill or the most dangerous person on enemy team you also take less damage cause unlike deaths dance that turns damage into a bleed phantom dancer makes it dissappear which would make more since for the deaths dance to make it disappear and phantom dancer turn into a bleed seeing as phantom dancer is primarily for ranged crit carries they have the saftey to turn damage into a bleed and just life steal it back up while deaths dance ment for melee champions have to make their way to the enemy before they can unleash the brunt of their damage. no one ever seems to factor the natural saftey and advantage that comes with range

I play Darius fairly often (or, used to; Dynamic Queue has sort of pushed me out of top lately, but he's my second highest mastery champion at the moment) and the couple games I've used it I've had fairly little trouble activating it. Keep in mind you have an entire 3 seconds to deal that damage; so even if tanks may prove troublesome mid game, early game you can run circles around them, and squishies are always fair game to get it activated.

(I've also gotten into the bad habit of building Hydra again on him, but I love me some lifesteal.)

I need to start playing top more often.
