I win lane in 100% games but win only 50% games

What I'm doing wrong? Playing Maplh, best farm, have kills, always positive, always have trinket and ward map. What else this game needs? How good I have to be to carry games? In every teamfight I'm ready to focus enemy carries or peel for mine carries.

I've watched every damn guide that I was able to find, but there is no answer. Wtf? Whats the secret? How people can have 70% and even 90% winrate?

There are people that will argue against this until they're blue in the face. "get guud carry nuub" is their favorite argument.

That used to be true back in the day when you could solo-snowball and carry games... now, it's a lot harder to do and every little mistake your teammates do are punished heavily.

The problem is Malphite and your playstyle with him. You win your lane, good job. Now you're at the mercy of your team because you picked a hard engage tank that can't do much without backup. Malph's job is to engage and tie up the enemy carries long enough for his team to come clean up. If your team refuses to follow you into a teamfight and abandons you there or is too incompetent to focus the right targets, it doesn't matter how hard you won your lane. Malph doesn't really have the capacity to carry as much as a lot of other champions do. Malph creates opportunities for the carry, he generally isn't one himself.

That's not to say you can't carry with Malph, but it's a heck of a lot harder than carrying with most other champions. You could try loading on the AP for more damage when you get ahead, but in that case you would most likely stop being the primary engage tank for your team, and your team may not have another tank to engage for you. You could play AP Malph in the mid lane so your team knows you won't be tanking and engaging for them as a top lane Malph would, but that presents it's own challenges as a less mobile melee in the mid lane.

If you want to "win lane, win game", it's easiest to pick a snowballing champion. Riven Garen Darius Irelia Pantheon Jax etc. are traditionally top laners and are the types of champs that if they win lane hard can carry even a sluggish team to victory.

Thats sad

Indeed. Malph was one of the first champs I ever bought when I joined League. I liked his look and his kit so I spammed him in normals as I leveled up. Teammates actually complimented me for picking him, and I thought that was because I was a kickass Malph. It didn't take me long to figure out that my team was so happy because Malph is basically a top lane support that was there to initiate and get the tar kicked out of him to get other team members fed.

I stopped playing Malph shortly afterward. One of the main rules of SoloQ is "Be prepared to carry the rest of your team if they start to fail, no matter what role you are", and Malph just has a tough time doing that. Not saying you can't make it work though, there's just easier alternative champions to pick from.

Maybe use the power you have and help snowball other lane

The game isn't all about winning your lane. Because let's see if you get a lead in lane and you stay in lane you're not helping your team that may be struggling like let's say I play riven I go 2/0 laning phase than I Roam mid or tp bot and try to snowball my lead to other lanes. It is a bad thing to have all your gold on one person spread the love.

So you think I stay on lane with Malph? Man I'm tp every time I see fights.

you should be teleport to start fights, not when the fights are already happening, you have to be proactive and not reactive to hard carry.

And when I see opportunities for fights

People play more broken champs than Malph I suppose kek.

Malphite is not a hard carry champ and you're not hard carrying with him. You do more than well enough to climb if you assume solo queue is filled with people that are trying hard to win and playing as best as they can.

If you want to climb you should just switch your main to Taric since you have 70% win rate and 19 assists/game as him. Stats like those allow you to climb.

Try to help other lanes. Make a TP to bottom and get them ahead. It's great if you're 9-0 in a team fight, but it's better if you're 2-0, your ADC is 5-0, and your mid is 3-0

Something people don't talk about when they say "carry harder" and the like is that certain champs are better for carrying than others. Malphite is not a hard carry champ. What that means is that he cannot snowball super hard and 1v5 when super fed like some champs can. You can still carry with him but not if the rest of your team is really bad. Only certain champs can do that.

Win Lane lose Game

Help bot-lane win their lane, even if it means losing your own lane, win game, that simple.

P.S. : I also main Malphite, but on the other hand, I main 3 particular champions altogether.

Now that I review your match-history, your main issue is not queue-dodging against clearly broken picks/compositions, and knowledge of composition-strength will automatically help you win 50% of your match-ups, the rest being your skill with Malphite.

Feel free to look at my match-history [NA Region], over-all record with Malphite, and what I often build on him (AS-Runes necessary if going Tri-Force/Gauntlet).
