@Meddler any thoughts on Yorick.
What do you guys think of Yorick right now? I personally think that he is fairly weak, at least after lane phase. For being "the" split push juggernaut, his split push is fairly weak. He takes towers incredibly slowly compared to juggernauts like Udyr or Nasus, and can't escape nearly was well either. He has to take Zzrot to take towers, which leaves him squishier than other Juggernauts. Sure Udyr also gets tri and Zzrot but he is infinetly more mobile, has built in sustain and shielding in his kit, has more consistent cc, and has an easier time dueling. Yorick's minions are a big limiting factor on this. They are difficult to obtain, don't follow you when you leave lane causing your dueling to weaken itself tremendously, and even in fights if you miss your E, a very difficult spell to land btw, you become almost useless unless there is no minion wave. His team fight is weak too. His W is easily destroyed when focused, and any dash can escape it. He can't reach the backline and his damage vs the frontline is pitiful unless you use your R. However you are encouraged to use your R to split push. (R also has a massive cd and gets focused by towers incredibly fast). Minions also die incredibly fast to any AOE damage. At the same time your R is insanely tanky while barely doing anything at all. His lane phase is the only decent part of him. However it isn't even that great when you compare it to say a Darius, who can also snowball much harder and become a massive threat late game. He just requires too much set up with his minions to all in you, and is just a slightly better Nasus otherwise.
TL;DR Yorick feels weak when compared to any other Juggernaut, only being mediocre at what he does while requiring much more set up and effort to do what he wants to do compared to an Udyr. He is just an inconsistent champion and there is no reason to pick him over say a Nasus.
