Why do silver/gold players INSIST on drafting teams with no tank, no engage?
Carry top. Carry mid. Carry jungle. AD carry. Mage/Enchanter support.
Zero engage. Zero tank. Zero peel (sometimes).
Lets just ARAM this shit and see what happens.

you want a tank in your team you bring a tank, otherwise you have no right to complain.
Yes, I will go ADC tank. This is good advice.
I never said it was optimal. But don't come complaining as an adc about not having tanks then.
And while it's most likely not great, it's not impossible. I've played AP bruiser singed in the adc position and gotten fed, Pretty sure i was able to function just fine as a frontline.
that shit ofcourse isn't gonna fly in like high-mid elo or high elo (plat + pretty much) but you really can't expect people to pick a tank against their will.
I'll sometimes pick a tank when i see we don't have one, but i'm not gonna swap from for example jax just because someone's losing their shit about not having a tank.
plenty of champs can engage while not being a full tank.
For clarity: i'm not saying you're not allowed to ask someone to go tank. Just realize the game is playable without them. And most people just want to play the champ they were planning to play rather than what's asked from them.
Is this a suggestion, or...?
The way I see it, if you're gonna draft this way - you gotta commit to it. Go ARAM or go home.
None of this laning/farming/objective bullshit.
Your team. My team. Mid lane. 3:00. Right next to the monkey bars.

I get why you're frustrated, but the last mistake someone should make is succumbing to that frustration. It'll just make it worse.
Because when I go a tank like warwick my team ints but when I play shyvana I can jump onto the enemy carry and melt them before my team is melted into a pile of goo
Yes, but when you int on shyvana, what then?
I see your point and its valid, and is very likely the reason people do what they do - but what happens when the carries fall behind? Who stops the enemy from 100-0ing you're whole team?
And people wonder why low-elo game lengths are still in the gutter while pro play game lengths are the longest they've ever been.
The current meta rewards safety.
When I int as shyvana I build tankier except when the game is going meh and im doing average is when im the most useless...
Because there is no worse a feeling than playing a tank in a low Elo game.
First reason: They gutted the ability and value in stacking any resistances. There are several runes and items now with effects such as %health damage, lethality and bleed effects that completely negate all the stats relevant to a tank. There are maybe 4 runes across all the trees that give any kind of resistance steroid. Couple that with the mobility and kitability mechanics that has become core to every strong champ and tanks become a really risky pick to begin with.
Second reason: As a tank you are also really dependant on the carry potential of your teammates. However in my experience low elo players don't have the mechanical knowledge or confidence to flex strong leads for team objectives or work as a cohesive unit. And generally their first response to losing a bad trade is to solo split or farm rather than group up with the tank.
Third and final reason: Factor in all the streams, videos, and the board circle jerk that says you have to carry yourself out of low elo. And you have the perfect formula for a 5 man carry instead of a powerful team comp.
Solutions: Rito develops a system that encourages more teamwork. Popular streams highlight the strength of cohesive play. More rewarding tank options ( give them strong utility such as teammate heals, crowd controls, and really unique kits)
This would be a step in the right direction. But each of these solutions present new challenges. But until there is some way to really teach low Elo players the value and ease of a tank lead team fight you will continue to see 5 man carry teams.
