Refusing your ban is stupid.

I don't get this, I don't understand why you would ban nobody at champ select.

Do you think you're edgy? Do you think you're cool, or it makes you some kind of hard ass?

It doesn't. Its just silly. There are more OP/Cancer champions in the game than there are bans. There is NO WAY you don't have SOMEONE in the game you don't enjoy playing against. Chances are -- someone else doesn't enjoy playing against that champion either.

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by using your ban. Its a strategic tool that you're being given to use, and you're throwing it away -- thereby not only lowering your own chance of success -- but everyone else's too!

And that's not really fair to everyone else, just because you wanted to flex your e-peen and let everyone know what a pro you are -- "Taking all challengers, I don't need no stinking ban -- look at me I'm so badass"

Cool -- then ask the team what they want banned, and ban that. Or just go look at some tier list somewhere on the internet and ban the highest win rate champion.

Ban whatever, ban a random fucking champion, whatever your mouse lands on -- just don't throw your ban away. You're not proving anything other than that you're an idiot.

I personally do it because I don't care who I play against and though I did offer my ban to teammates in the past, it gets tedious after multiple months. Not banning someone has a few additional benefits as well. I learn how to deal with the flavor of the month champions instead of hiding from them, I don't inconvenience someone by banning a champion they were considering to play (enemies and allies alike), and lastly I'd rather lose a fair game than clearly win one because a one trick pony didn't get their champion.

You are free to disagree with me, but please realize that people have their reasons for not banning.

I honest to god don't have a single champion in the game I hate enough to want to ban. But I just ban someone my friends hate.

faker doesn't ban anyone so he can practice against all champions, no matter how broken they are

I totally misunderstood this at first and thought this was Player Behavior, and you were talking about people who got banned.

Still, agreed wholly. Don't just fucking throw away your ban, see if someone else needs it. Or ban someone's counter. Or ban something.

Not banning means you are ready to learn to play against every single champion, and that's fine.

if you have a wide enough champion pool, or you're gifted and can just play all the champions, then in all seriousness one is likely better off not banning anything because there won't be any pick you don't have a pick for. also what difference does the 1 ban make when there's always some 20 broken things on the rift?

It's a stylistic choice and helps mask which lane I'll go into.
