Riot: Can We update a simple but necessary function in League: The Friend Request?

Hi Riot/readers!

As my title suggests, I have something I want to see improved on my mind, and I think most players and most staff would probably agree with me on this.

So hear me out.

I've been playing since Season 4, through at least 3 incarnations of the Game platform. Sadly, as Riot has elaborated and made the platform more accessible, and generally more friendly overtime, there's one feature that I believe is still extremely restricted, base, and could be vastly improved in a minor patch/text box upgrade: The Friend Request.

Status Quo: You can only type in or right click a "potential friend" and send them a request.

You Cannot: Leave a note telling them who you are, where you know them from, or various alts.

So.... when a potential friend sees a name they don't remember, or who is an alt account of someone they DO know, all they see is some unaffiliated stranger.

Could Riot Perhaps add a text box to introduce yourself, so a friend can make better decisions when friending or ignoring a request candidate?

I believe adding such a feature would vastly improve player's experiences with the feature.
