Can we give the Urgot some love?

Urgot is actually pretty good. He just has a weird skillset that doesn't mesh with team strategies, and ult that I think sucks, and feels clunky even when you are good with him

Now Urgot is a odd fellow. He has three options of play Top, Mid, and Bot. This wide swing makes it hard to pick where and what your doing. I have found that for the most part Urgot does better in top lane out of the three. His kit I understand makes some people go um wtf is he, but it can be strong depending on what you need. His Q (refunds 20 mana on a unit kill) and E (E shreds for 20% at max) combo is really great letting him toss out damage in lane well shredding armor. His passive reduce damage dealt by affected champions. Now reducing damage done by 15% for a champion is really big later in the game. His ult is a hard one to use it does no damage but the power to pick a person or swap a brave foe into your turret range is a big deal. The problem is that you need to build to use your ult. You have to set yourself up so that you can take the hits when you swap. Now the third level of the ult give you a very nice 50% damage reduction, as the enemy team beats on your bloated fat. Urgot I think is not that bad off, I think the real reason he see so little play is his look and kit throw people of him at first glance.
