Give us a way to honor/thank people outside of the post-game lobby

I just had a game where my router reset right after the final team fight at baron. By the time I was able to reconnect the game was over and thankfully my team was able to push for the win. I wish I had a way to thank them for the win and apologize for DCing for a couple minutes. Sure I could gift them all something but that's a rather pricey way to thank your whole team. I wish I had the option to honor people outside of the post-game lobby or send them a thank you in some way.

One way I was thinking that could be really cool is if you wanted to honor your teammates you could donate the IP you earned from the game to them. With the IP you could attach a pre-scripted message like "thanks for the carry" or "thanks for being a good teammate." I understand some people could abuse this and use it to send sarcastic gifts but I feel like the good the system could do would outweigh the bad, especially if you could only choose pre-scripted messages rather than right your own (so someone couldn't gift someone 50 IP and tell them to go kill themselves or something.)
