What about Hecarim? I barely see anybody talking about him

Usually the only time that people even remember that Hecarim exists is when he is too strong. And when he is too strong, it is usually due to abusing synergy with a certain item or game mechanic (I think the last time Hecarim was strong was when the elemental dragons were recently released due to him abusing his synergy with the wind dragon).

I feel like Hecarim needs a rework. This is because everytime he is strong he can dive squishies with no counterplay due to his ult and his E giving him absurd movement speed. His E's synergy with Trinity Force means he can do almost all of their damage and there is nothing you can do about that unless you have a strong slow like Zilean's E or Nasus' W.

Also, for a diver, Hecarim lacks dueling potential. Every other diver like Jax, Warwick, Kayn, Camille, etc, has at least decent 1x1 potential and the ability to deal with tanks. In case of Jax, he has hybrid sustained damage. For Warwick, he has hybrid damage too, and damage based on their max health. Kayn has damage based on max health too. Camille has true damage, physical damage based on their max health, and magic damage based on their current health. Hecarim has nothing like that. Not only his dueling potential is completely inferior to every other diver, but he has nothing to deal with tanks and juggernauts. Sure, he deals some magic damage with his abilities, but it is not enough to make him an hybrid champion, and he also is lacking in sustained damage other than his Q. He can't even build The Black Cleaver because he really needs Trinity Force, and overall The Black Cleaver still doesn't help him in dealing with tanks.

Also, despite the fact that Hecarim builds Trinity Force, the only ability he has that directly procs it is his E, which has a long cooldown. His only other way to proc Spellblade is to spam Q and auto. This is different from almost every other champion that builds Trinity Force, which generally have a low cooldown ability that applies on-hit effects.

Finally, other than his W, Hecarim is lacking in survivability tools. His W heal isn't even that strong in most situations.

At the jungle currently he is forced to rush Trinity Force, but this item is too expensive for a jungler. If he is not snowballing, he is useless. And there are other junglers that can snowball better than him while not falling as behind, like Lee Sin.

His kit is a mess and when he is strong, he usually abusing items, like I explained. Yet I never see people talking about him. Not even Riot.

I feel like Hecarim just needs to be allowed to scale with damage better instead of being this base damage triforce abuser.

His kit is suited for a melee hypercarry, and that is what he used to be, but now he is just a glorified mobile juggernaut because he can buy triforce sterak's and then full tank.

What I think should happen is his base damages should go down, his AD scalings should go up, and finally his passive should calculate AD based off of the movement speed he would have BEFORE the soft cap. That way, he would get MORE AD from movement speed and scale better with AD and therefore movement speed. He would be encouraged to build movespeed like his kit suggests.

Another thing I'd like is if they reverted the changes to his w of old. Change it back to scaling from 10% to 30% healing instead of the flat 20%. The current W is a one trick wonder at best, and really isn't an interesting skill, but it allows him to be a lategame champion.

Honestly I want triforce to NOT be the most defiitely best item on him. There's so many other interesting items for him that he never considers due to the sheer synergy from triforce.

Lowering the base damage on his Q and upping the ad scaling would encourage him to build AD instead of triforce.

I would also change his W to do damage based on the enemy's max health instead of it doing flat damage. That way, Hecarim has at least some way to deal with enemy tanks and bruisers.

His ult should also either be changed to something more interesting or scale better, instead of it being an inferior version of Malphite's ultimate.

Also, if Hecarim is meant to be a mobile juggernaut, he is also failing at that. Every other juggernaut also has better dueling potential, ways to deal with tanks, and better survivability.

Really? I think his ult is one of the coolest and more unique. And it is a skill shot fear with insane mobility. Not a knock up like Malphite's. I mean other than the fact they move in a straight line to a certain location that's about where the comparison ends.

They also CC enemies in an AoE at the location they land, and deal a bit of magic damage.
