As a player who always bans Yasuo here are my reasons

Hello and thank you for taking time to read. RITO announced they would do some changes to Yasuo, and asked about it, so I give my reasons why i ban him every game. I will try not to make this a wall of text, but I will try to explain with as little salt as I can.

Wind wall. Do I really have to explain this? Having your auto attacks blocked sucks. Having your projectiles sucks. Having your ultimate sucks. Engaging as a tank, just to have your carries wind walled sucks. Playing around the wind wall is boring. Seeing an opportunity to engage, but not doing that, because you know that the wall is off cooldown and your carries or you will be wind walled is both frustrating, boring, non-interactive.

Carry and comeback potential Pretty straight forward. Having double critical strike makes Yasuo one of the most, if not the most, gold-efficient champion in the game. Combine that with solid waveclear, fast killing the turrets and you can imagine that playing against a decent Yasuo is playing against the clock. No matter how behind he is he always has his strong lategame and comeback potential.

Dueling power His laning phase is strong. Combine his mobility, windwall, passive shield and low cooldown offensive spell and lack of resource and you have some pretty strong champion in lane. Poking him is not as effective as it should be, trading with him will probably go in his favor. Later in the game, when he is split pushing, in most of the cases you need 2 or 3 guys to deal with him, due to his 1v1 potential. There are champions, who can duel him, but what if you do not have then in your team? More often than not you will need 2 or 3 people to deal with him. And even if he has no escape it still can take a while, because of how mandatory GA is on AD champions and his mobility. If he plays smart he still can waste a lot of time to your team, and maybe even kill kill a squishy member if he catches him.

Split push playstyle You can take this with a spoon of salt, but I generally dislike to play against/with split pushers. IMO it requires a lot of communication in both sides. Having a call to engage 4v5 versus the team with the split pusher, and seeing 2 guys in the team to back to deal with his is pretty frustrating. Having a window to engage, but wondering if the splitpusher will TP and join you or will simply let you die 4v5 is by no means fun. It can go both ways, in my team, or in the enemy, but in SOLOQ I have little control to what my teammates are doing, so it feels a little like gambling if everyone will be at the same page. However that is true for all splitpush champions, not just Yasuo, so it is by no means the main reason. Just adds a little more salt in me towards Yasuo.

Combine these factors and it is easy to see why we have such an annoying character here.

So, what would I want changed in this guy? It is a hard question. Easiest thing is change his wall. A champion who deal so much damage does not need the power to stop almost every form of damage for his whole team. Knowing that his base stats are gutted in order to balance that does not make it feel fair in the game either. If he keeps having the wall - at least she should pay for that. Sitting in the middle of the wall makes him practically invulnerable versus ranged attacks, but during that time he still packs a lot of damage. Which would never feel fair to play against.
