Eh? I never said I should take over, I'm far too biased and volatile for that. Week 1 would literally just be me gutting champs to see how much strength I could take out.

They need to have lower levels of punishment like 24 hours or 48 hours ban from ranked games

They usually get punished AFTER the end of season. Reward are removed but ranked experience have already been hurt.

They prevent others from getting rewards they probably could have gotten if matches didnt have smurfs in them.

That's exactly what I said "Reward are removed but ranked experience have already been hurt." I don't think it's something they can react within 24 hours.

So, is the problem with boosters the fact that players are smurfs doing really well? Or that the boosters have left and the player feeds?

I've seen a little bit of both. Last night, for example, i had a 1/15 vayne who practically force fed all game and AFK farmed who had a like 60-70% WR on every single champion up til that point. Sure they could've just been having a bad game but, it literally looked like this person's kid brother was on their account.

While I definitely see smurfs, it doesn't bother me as much. I don't mind getting beat fair and square even if it feels a little dirty. It's the boosters that get me because not only do they ruin the game for everyone else but, I am sure most people paying for boosting end up regretting it anyways.

Both. The presence of Smurfs in Ranked games hurt Ranked games in every way. Allowing Duos with Smurfs no matter if its just friends should be bannable (its boosting). It Hurts the Ranked system because the MMR system was designed for people to be on similar footing. Smurfs throw games to stay in lower ELO. Boosted players Ruin ranked games they get into solo because they dont belong in that ELO. Players that are vs Smurfs get frustrated because they are cheated out of what could have been a win and so it adds Toxicness to the matches. Smurfs Boost their egos adding to the toxicness of the matches. Its BAD for the game in EVERY aspect.
