Malzahar QOL: If you cast his Q or W at max range, it won't make you walk there, it will cast

Like Zigg's Q, you just use it even if it's out of range and it casts it at the current max range.

Thoughts?

I personally like Malz how he is, as far as casting mechanics go. It's not quite the same as Ziggs' Q which has extra range past the max throw due to bounces.

Yah that's not really a QOL change. That's just a preference.

No, No, No

Seriously, No

It wouldn't be a good change because, for example, if I wanted to cast Q on a brush for vision, I don't want it casting early in front of it.

For actual viable QoL buff suggestions, see here.

nope, as both are groundtargeted aoes, not skillshots. on a skillshot like ziggs Q or nidas Q, you usually just want the generall direction for the skill, on a groundtargeted aoe however, you want to target a specific point(or aoe), so it makes sens if the spell is only cast if that point is in range.

Good nerf

This will separate the good Malz from the great Malz!
