@Balance team What is the next step for Teemo?

Because even with the small buffs he got last patch, Teemo still feel underwhelming compared to his previous state.

I am a long time Teemo player. He is pretty much the champion that got me into the game, back in season 1. I mostly played him to get to 30 and have been playing him every season quite a bit. As of today, I own all his skins and he is still one of my most played champions. I was a bit afraid of the update, but I knew it was with the objective of making him a better and less toxic champion in the end.

Now, I completely understand that reducing the duration of the mushrooms was a necessity in order to add power to the rest of his kit, reduce his amount of invisible power and also reduce the amount of frustration he can cause. However, he will still need more adjustments to make up for that huge power loss.

Here is what I would propose. Keep in mind that I am just tossing some ideas around and that not all the proposed changes should happen :

Passive : I honestly think his E should be his passive. His current E is just not interesting, being a passive ability and all, and a simple dps boost. It could scale with level instead of being caped at level 9 like it currently is, making it better late game.

Q : This ability is fine. Defines Teemo as an anti-AA champion. Is also a decent point and click nuke when building AP.

W : I still think this ability is underwhelming. The passive part is fine. It allows him to move around the map faster, but the active just feel so weak to use. I would personally add a slow removal upon activation to make it feel better to use at the proper timing instead of just "I need to move a bit faster now".

E : His new E should be camouflage. It could be divided into a passive and active part. The passive would be the same he currently has (stealth faster in brush and staying this way as long as he does not leave it or attack). The active could be that if used in a brush, you take reduced damage from AoE or just straight damage reduction. Another idea would be that you stay stealthed a certain amount of time (scaling with rank up) outside a brush if you activate it inside one.

R : I am fine with throwing mushrooms around. What I really did not like was the increased arm time duration. Currently, Teemo can't use it reactively when someone jump on him anymore because of that increased arm time, and throwing it in a team fight with the hope of it exploding on many people is night impossible. It feels horrible to keep your mushrooms for a fight only to have people just waltz right past them before they arm (or just destroy them). Just put the arm time back to 1 sec and it should be fine.

Anyway, that's my two cents as a Teemo player. Would really appreciate if the anyone from the live balance (Repertoir, Meddler, etc.) could comment on what they think of Teemo currently and what would be the next step to improve him.

Thanks for reading and sharing toughts on our little satanic Yordle Teemo.

Teemo needs a full rework. I sincerely believe that nothing short of that will get him to a point where he will be allowed to be powerful.

My personal change preferences

base stats: slight increase to AA range substantial increase to MS

Innate: magic DoT on-hit, no up-front component, scaling includes gradual reduction in total duration while increasing total damage dealt

Q: DoT poppy Q (minus %hp)

W: passive: vision extends slightly into brush and around corners active: sheds slows&roots, grants %MS and Eve-esque stealth for short duration

E: linear champion (and possible large/epic monsters) collision skillshot damages and removes target's vision, which recovers over duration (epic monsters, if affected at all, obviously immune to CC portion as usual)

R: visible; invulnerable; range increased early, decreased late; passive vision removed; detonation releases %currentHP Cass W revealing affected area and poisoned targets

I think these changes would make his interactions more consistent between opponents (countering some less hard while being countered less hard in return), and reduce the prominence several areas of common complaint, freeing room in his power budget for actually being useful as more than a shroom&ward monkey

The end result (I hope) is a marksman-type champ who is mobile without dashes/jumps/blinks, excels in quick hit-and-run skirmishes, and is difficult to pin down, but gets squashed like a ripe melon if someone does manage to jump on him

Like I said, I am not asking for all those changes. Those are just ideas of how we could improve him.

He is such an easy champion to play that buffing him takes a lot of thought and is hard to do. He either destroys the champion or gets destroyed, there is no in between. Hard to buff that without making the first match ups impossible

probably they will buff him hard as a jungler he will see a game in the lcs against lee lee will show his superiority and in the next patch teemo will get nerfed hard

Of your account? I think you have to do that through a support ticket.

I would much rather see Fizz deleted then Teemo.
