Chimes shouldn't spawn so far apart.

I can rarely get from one Chime to the other without the Movement Speed stack timing out. (In the early-to-mid game)

Completely contradicts Bard's roaming style.

Well you aren't supposed to wander off and grab them the instant they appear. You're supposed to let them build up a tad so you can do a quick pass and get 5-10 Chimes at once.

Which is why the spawn rate needs to be increased.

You aren't meant to roam all the time. Your ADC will likely get zoned and/or killed. That is why the Chimes last a long time; pick them up when you're in the area.

But, say for example, if I recall and then go to pick up the 2-4 that are on the way back to lane, even the nearest one is too far away.

I just did my first pvp Bard match, and was able to get 73 in under 40 minutes, without trying particularly hard and not abandoning my ADC.

Roam with your jungler for a minute so he can counter-jungle safely, and you can get the dangerous ones more easily while also being helpful.

I can get about 80 in 30-35 minutes - it doesn't make the dodgy Chime spawn locations any better.

I've played Bard 10 times now and it still annoys me.

You're annoyed because you're trying to do something you aren't meant to do. You don't need to gather them all, and you don't need need to get them as soon as they spawn.

But that's not even my point. My point is that I always end up a couple of steps away from the next Chime as my movement speed buff runs out.

There will literally be one in my path on the way back to lane that I pick up, and then one slightly off to the side (say, in the tri-brush below gromp) and my MS boost will time out right before it would have refreshed and added a second stack to it.

Chimes spawn in the qaudrant of the map youre in... ... theyre also meant to supplement you when you roam, not carry you to level 18 or make your damage OP.
