Heimer's turrets really shouldn't be able to immediately block skill shots when he places them

Playing a skill shot reliant champion against Heimer is like bashing your face against a wall, because he can just drop a turret between you if he's ever at risk of getting hit by anything.

It would make a lot of sense to make them similar to Neeko's clone, and not allow them to block skill shots for a second or so after he places them.

Shaco. Zyra. Yorick. Heimerdinger. near literally every champion that spawns a sort of "pet" is able to instantly block abilities with their ability. The fact that the timing has to be correct, and even have the stuff UP just means that either YOU are misplaying hard, or they are outplaying you hard. Try to 100% block every skill shot with Heimer. I want to see how you fair. :)

EDIT: As for Neeko clone, it is not instantly targetable because it is moving and you are invis for a bit. It makes no sense for it to instantly block something when it does not exist (similar to leblanc). Wukong blocks instantly as well.

Don’t worry we needed to nerf Malzahar because his voidlings can block skillshots, meanwhile these champions are fine.

The only one of these examples who can spawn something in front of them on demand is Shaco, but his is a fairly long cooldown and generally can't be used for this. And it turns out players above Diamond have better reaction speed than handicapped monkeys.

The issue isn't intercepting it while the skill shot is in the air, even though doing so is trivial if you're remotely good at the game. The issue is that if you try to fight him or he think you're trying to fight him, he can drop one 'just in case' because he doesn't need to save them for anything else.
