IN Diamond Elo (this patch) Soraka has a win rate 52.71% for Diamond+ players whilst the very best Soraka's are earning a win rate of 59.55% with the average rank of these top players being in Diamond III.

LoLalytics ranks Soraka at 4 amongst all champions earning a tier grade of Challenger.

This ranking takes into account the win rate of Diamond+ players, the pick/ban influence of Soraka, the win rate and average rank of the best Soraka players.

Pretty sure a few percents of that are caused by players refusing to acknowledge that GW is mandatory against a Soraka, so they end up getting wrecked, because they don't buy it at all or too late when the match is lost already.

I mean try playing Soraka against an ADC that buys executioner very early just to cheese his way through your lane and then tell me again that Soraka is too strong.

Yea diamond players are not as smart as you think, a lot of them just have good enough mechanics on a few champions.

If both bot lane sides are skilled it goes like this: pre GW you lose all trades, after GW you win all trades. It's very binary. But this is really fucking obvious if you consider what 40% heal reduction does to a champion that gains most power from healing.

yet raka can get items that increase healing... item 3114 and the adc already starts with some lifesteal... and 900 gold for a item 1053 i think could counter act the 800 gold item 3123

You can get all 3 heal boost item and winspeaker and the 800 gold GW will still counter all of that and leave you with 90% heal power instead of the 100%.

No matter how much you argue, 40% is an insanely strong debuff. summoner 3 has 40% reduction. Imagine playing ADC while being perma exhausted.

You are not gonna do significant healing against damage from champions that are actually allowed to scale with their items. Definetly not enough to call Soraka too strong.

yea I don't understand the thinking that Diamonds are the Smartest players. I have played a few games and watch my friends who is Diamond with spectate. Friend thought it would be funny to bring his S1 friend into a normal game with his 3 diamond friends. Diamond mid get's camped never places a ward never places a trap he was jhin mid. And constantly blamed Jungle(Me)(Evelynn) for him loosing lane against a JG Nautilus. Goes 0/8 by the 20 minute mark and just flys off the handle screaming. I even imagined he was frothing at the mouth. The fact he lost to a Silver 2 Syndra and a Gold 4 Naught is what I think was funny.

Hashinshin is the best example. He is SUPER TOP but also super salty and always blames his jungler. This is the kind of player that would easily reach diamond but still be very ignorant to some aspects of the game.

You simply don't have to be good at everything. That's what challenger is for. If diamond players were perfect they would be challenger and not diamond.

Hashinshin/Shaclone and a few other Diamond players who if they don't get their way throw a tantrum like a child. I believe they could easily kick my ass in the game, but when they let their Ego's get in the way it becomes something else. I have seen plenty of Diamonds with Bronze mentality. Hashinshin is #1 example of this. If he doesn't get ganked he will complain and Int. If he gets camped he will complain and Int. If the JG ganks and takes the kill he will run it down mid. If the JG takes a cannon minion he will run it down mid. Sadly this mentality is a minority in Diamond.
