Why don't we get the best of both worlds ?

Currently the community is divided in half so why not satisfy both of them ?

How ? Well some of us prefer the classic and long games the other prefer fast games with changing metas.

keep the contemporary version of lol with each year a new season
add a 50$ per year legacy lol version.

This one would be based on a older version of lol and wont need patches and work done on it. Because it will be a finished version of the game. Giving it an annual subscribtion will be a way to compensate the selling of skins and a way to maintain servers allowed to this mode.

Riot would get back most of the old players and will keep the current ones and everyone will be happy.

Yes it would take time and money but i think its really worth the investimment.

It will help the game to keep its popularity alive.

There are too many older versions, is the problem. Too many would prefer this or that season, since there's no consistent core to work with, like there would be with an MMO, that typically relies on actual expansions for any major changes to the game. I also can't imagine they're willing to host League cups for both the only mode they care about, and an entirely different type of League. It's too much time, too much money, and just not doable.

I also don't want to pay money to relive the golden days of league. I'd just feel pitiful.

Doable if they went with season 5 and kept it at the end of season 5 and just do a few patches to balance the few tanks that where too strong at the time.

This only proves my point, however. The Season that is the best is a matter of opinion, since every Season has both a sense of imbalance and balance, depending on what you're looking at. It's too much of a risk.

Actually I say it due to the fact in season 5 players weren't complaining near as much as season 6 onward, season 6 had the keystone imbalances, season 7 perfected those but introduced broken leathality and now this garbage season. Season 5 has less complaining on the boards then 4 and 3 had as well. The players where happiest then and then and that was leagues Highest point before it peaked and started going down hill.

U misunderstood one thing: This is the game u are allowed to play. U like: u play. U dont like: u dont play.

It s not magic tcg where there are different formats. There s on client, one database, one developing team. Deal with upgrades and improve. There s no room for nostalgic whine

You know how long people have claimed this to be the case? Since the end of Season 1, if not sooner.

Not really during season 1 2 and 3 we had a huge increase of players we never talked about the game dying... but this year the crazy stuff made by riot is way too much. We never saw this in all lol's history...

You say this but people have been saying that league is dying as soon as season 2 and want to know something else? Every new season has "too much crazy stuff" when compared to what we had before
