Support items problem

Riot do a lot to discourage non-support players to buy support items, but they still buy it because of the power they provide. I think they should just change bandit passive instead: "you gain exactly 1 gold if a minion / monster dies near you". That means no kill gold except relic passive. Then we could get some interesting items which require to have a support item.

I disagree with you sir. RIOT has done great things to improve support items and supports in general. I am a main silver support player and I approve of RIOT's work on supports and their items.

item 3098 not going cooldown when you CS has been a major recent change. True, it doesn't have spooky ghosts any more. But its a great gold item for AP users.
