Collecting BE (IP) will be unpredictable?

am I understand correctly, that we will not get any BE after games from the next pre-season? Hence the amount of BE we collect depends on our luck (chests and friends)?

Currently I can estimate how much time I need to get a new champion I want. It is not fast but at least predictable. Also it gives me enough time to practice on the champion before I buy the next one. I prefer something small every day compared to get nothing for months, then get 10 new champions from a single box.

so basically if you are stuck at 6299 BE and have no champ shards left you'll have to wait for the next level?

well I would agree that BE gains from games should get reduced, but not completely removed.

Well... they did say this in video and in newsletter: "Instead of getting IP after every game, you’ll receive an unlocked chest—called a capsule—every time you level up."

Yes, it currently seems you will get BE only from chests at levelups (each next levelup requires more and more xp) or chests from mastery. If you are higher level, you will get less champion shards and BE, but you will get more emotes and such.

tldr- game will be pay to play. each next champion will be harder to acquire, since: A. the higher the level the less BE you will get B. each next level will take longer

I do believe you misheard it. In the video itself, it shows them gaining BE after the match.

Yeah, I've got to admit, I agree with you on that point. All the people whining about IP refunds are making me angry, but completely removing the regular IP/BE gains sounds really odd to me.

Is this whole IP -> BE / Runes -> BE permament option? Or will it dissapear? Not sure If I should reinstall LoL to claim what's left of my stolen hard work, or will it be safe for now?

I think they said that we will get daily missions that will reward us with BE, like the first win of the day did. But even if, I would rather like to get some BE for every game I play... :<

They are literally copying and pasting the heroes of the storm loot method but removing everything positive about... riot is really shooting themselves in the foot here
