My first impression of the jg changes

Just had my first game with the new patch as the jungler, I realized a few things about the new buff timers.

  1. The Drag buff is very strong
  2. When the team/jungler is ahead, the enemy JG is almost certain to lose the buff.
  3. The timer encouraged invading and skirmishing in the jungle, I feel like pick comp is very efficient due to invader/defender not having full vision of the jg.
  4. Vision in the jg become more prioritized than River now. WARD WAR become more common.
  5. The information of the buff timer is basically useless for the jungler who is behind.
  6. Winning lanes are even more snowbally now due to a stronger laner can create lots of pressure for enemy jg by shoving lane and steal camps.
  7. Jg experience buff makes the junglers have much more power early on.
  8. Rift Herald is still very easy to take down, but the buff is extremely strong.
  9. Drag feels harder to kill.
  10. Rageblade change definitely delays the powerspike of on hit junglers.
  11. Red/Blue buff are sooo strong
  12. Camps feels very weak

I beg to differ about rageblade. Build path 30 times better just for a lil more gold doesnt really do anything but make fighting all the time good. Oh yeah and buff changes are legit the better jungler will have your buffs all game 24/7.

I was thinking of going jungler instead of support for a while as kindred, graves and maybe shaco or yi. I've been debating if now is a good time to get into the jungle since I am very vision oriented as a support already. Interesting.

Kinda thinking tracker's and a sweeper might keep me in the loop as to how to play around their jungle. My warding has always been super aggressive.

just dont get sweeper til 9, warding trinket is still useful even when you have trackers.
