Would You Rather Want New Champions or Old Champions Updated First?

So after reading through a recent post about getting more updates done it's gotten me thinking: would people rather want to continue getting new champions at this current rate while also having a lower amount of older champions getting reworked or have a fairly larger amount of older champions get reworked while having a bit smaller amount of new champions come out? And really both of these options aren't really wrong, its just a matter of preference.

Newer champions obviously keep the game fresh, exciting, and overall how I imagine Riot makes most of their money. At the same time they can also be a way of introducing new mechanics or playstyles in the game. On the other hand, there are currently a lot of older champions that are either very outdated visuals and/or weak kits right now that are in desperate need of a rework. Working on them would more than likely bring them up to speed in the current game but at the same time most people probably own these champs already, so Riot would almost make nearly nothing from players who already own these champions if say they didn't release legacy or exclusive skins with the relaunch of them.

Again, I feel this all comes down to personal preference on what you want. I personally would like to see more of the older champions get updated. Right now there are just a lot that really need to be worked on and with the current number of champions in the game right now I'd be fine with maybe one or two more new ones every now and again.

I feel they should simply expand their rework team by hiring on more employees as opposed to simply shifting employees around the company, which I'm not saying is the case, but considering this is Riot were talking about, I won't be surprised if that's what has been happening. As the game continues to expand along with its number of champions, so too should the amount of employees reworking old champions grow as well, as it is an inevitability that poor champ designs are going to come along, get pushed out, and need to be reworked.

I mean if Riot keeps up the direction they've been going in with the recent release of new champions, then we shouldn't have to worry about anymore Ekkos, Yasuos, and Illaoi's being released. Those three are easily the three most toxic champions Riot has put out in recent years as they always came with one free stat that allowed them to almost completely circumvent the natural weakness that is supposed to come with their role.

Personally I would like more reworks, but I'll take quality over quantity.

I think it's important to draw the line between update and rework. I think it'd be better to update current champions first by maybe changing some abilities or mechanics, but mostly focusing on balancing the numbers. As far as complete rework, I think it'd be better to have new champions as a whole than change an existing one.
