Tenacity needs to affect knockups
This is such a no brainer, you release champions that have knock ups all the time and tenacity still does nothing for it. That needs to be fixed.

Except that Knock ups are by far already shorter than most Stuns, Snares or Charms. The longest knock ups in the game I think is Janna's at 1.25 I think, with maybe Yasuo taking second place. That's the thing about knock ups that people here don't realize. They're by design shorter, because they're meant to be flat utility that they can still bring to the team even when behind. They're the true damage of CC.
I think a "Size" and "Knockup Power" is needed.

I think of them as 2 different things really. Tenacity affects CC that is ground based, so Slows, Snares, Roots, Etc. Where as Knock ups are in the air, it's not an easy thing to reduce the time your literally in the air compared to reducing the time your touching the ground and even then most knock ups don't last that long compared to most other forms of CC.
I have no issue with displacement cc as long as there is not to much of it and it's not on champions that deal high burst damage like assassins. I'm look at you sylas who legit has everything.
It really should be reserved for immobile champions such as cho ali malphite yes I know vayne draven trist has their own cc but it's usually very conditional and they arnt assassins either.
This. When they decided that tenacity wouldn't affect knockups, there weren't many in the game. Now there are a lot. That's part of why i never used to have a problem with yasuo but now do. When i say kockup here, i mean something yas can ult off of. He has synergy with too many champs now. Aatrox went from having 1 knockup to having 4. Corki now has a knockup. Galio now has a knockup. Maokai now has a knockup. Morde now has a knockup. Poppy now has another knockup. Swain now has a knockup. I think zac now has another knockup. Nunu now has a knockup. Urgot now has a knockup. And now think of all the champs since yasuo's release who were released and who have knockups. 


. I might have missed a few, or i might be forgetting release order for champs that haven't been changed and were released before or after yas or something like that. Anyway, it's absurd.
Either tenacity needs to affect kockups or a lot of champs need to lose their knockups.
Knockups are already shorter than other forms of cc. Their entire purpose is that they aren't affected by tenacity, otherwise what is the difference between a knockup and a stun other than visuals? With the exception of Alistar there are no point and click instant ranged knockups in the game, which means they all already have counterplay, they don't need to be counter built. Do you have an actual reason as to why tenacity needs to affect knockups? If there are any champs that have a knockup that is too powerful, that ability should be addressed, not knockups in general.
problem is if this was the case mundo would literally be olaf^2 and tristana/leesin would basically not have an ult. What they need to do it cut some of the knockups in the game and give more people stuns.
Amount of CC should heavily depend on overall dmg in the game. CC x DMG shouldnt be more than, lets say "1".
Doesn't it kind of? I thought Ornn's Brittle reduced tenacity which can increase the knockup time if it puts you below 0. Or is the extra knockup a separate part of it.
They need to rework the whole CC mehanic not just the knockup. Stun not stunning people. People still casting mid interupts. Example tristana jump. ''Its a balance issue'' I dont have time to learn how each ability CCs 144 champs because apparently its not the same.
Idk, personally i think the duration is ok, but there needs to be less champions with knockups in the game. I feel like im against a full knockup team every single game. It actually takes me a while to think of a champion with an actual stun and not just a knockup/knockback

I'm just gonna say this really quick: there are champions that can spam knockups with cdr without tenacity there to stop them or the knockups are loooooooooong and most of the times it takes on a very large erea that can well positioned knockup the whole team.. kinda annoying
People need to understand that the more we nerf CC the more
get to run around with less and less counter play
I disagree tbh the point of knockups is that theyre designed to not be affected by tenacity which makes them different to stuns however the problem now is that knockups or things that work similarly are quite common now
what id love to see is that weight mechanic added that works like tenacity but only affects knockups to help keep the differentation
or a mechanic where if you have X amount of HP youre immune to the knockups so tanks cannot be affected
New Stat Weight: Determines the airborne duration when knocked up or displaced.
This stat could be based on champion role and how much mobility/dashes the champ has built into their kit.
So for example:




would have low weight stats and thus stay airborne longer
While

, would have higher weight stats and knockups will only keep them airborne for a short duration.
ADC's and mages would weigh somewhere between assassins and tanks/juggernauts.
The stat would be independant from tenacity and completely predetermined for each champion based on their role and built in dashes. It could scale with levels so certain champions get harder to pin down as the game goes on (thinking
). You would not be able to buy this stat from items or runes.
Apparently Tenacity and abilities like Garen's W sometimes affect Knockups. As a Sion main, ive played countless matches where I get people to escape early on a max charge Q due to Tenacity but when I get tenacity on someone like Aatrox and play vs other champions with knockup, especially Cho'gath, Tenacity doesn't do crap. I personaly think Tenacity sometimes just works sometimes just doesn't and it is mostly affected by the height you get sent up from the knockup.
Malphite would require the largest overhaul over.
