Just had a game where every member of my team fed horrendously. Question...

And I do mean horrendously. I think everybody on the enemy team went legendary. I have a question for high elo people that smurf or otherwise plow through Bronze/Silver etc. How do you guys do this ? There are days when I get as many as 5 games back to back where my allies feed to such a disgusting level before 20 minutes. It not rare for me to experience to see a score something like 1-17 by 20 minutes. How do you guys climb through this with ease. I've tried a bunch of different approaches, some more successful than others but I can't find a solution to the horrendous feeding that goes on in Bronze. I've given up trying to figure this out on my own. I need help with this. Give me some clue guys. Every one likes to spam "git gud" but how in God's name can a single individual overcome the disaster of an entire team that cannot stop feeding ?

Think I've seen that thread. It has the typical advice like CS better, don't die alot etc. Cookie cutter stuff.

A few weeks back I rode a massive win streak from the pit of Bronze 5 to the promos to Bronze 3. I played Kayle Top and Jungle and stumbled onto a formula that worked great at the time. I'd focus on three things:-

  1. Out CSing everybody.
  2. Not dying a lot.
  3. Saving towers and taking enemy towers.

I was amazed at how many games I carried hard focusing on these three things and actually thought I found a way to blow through Bronze....Then it stopped working when I reached Bronze 3 promos. After that things just went back to normal. I'd win 1 lose 5. I realized my win streak at the time was pure luck because the games had been fairly even and my "formula" only helped to tip the balance in our favor. I was losing heavily again because I started getting teams that fed their asses off. So much so that I couldn't farm fast enough, couldn't save towers fast enough and due to the excessive feeding going on, I was unable to stop dying simply because of how super fed the enemy was. Hell, enemy supports getting double kills was common.

I need an out of the box idea apart from the typical stuff. The typical advice only works with games that are somewhat close. It helps carry games like 10-20 or 3-7 but not games like 4-25 which is very typical in Bronze.

I can see that you play a lot of Azir. Ill just give you my opinion about it : Azir isnt a good champ to climb out of bronze. He requires your team to do well, he kinda needs people to peel for him, like an adc do. Most of bronze players dont even know what peeling is. If you want to get out of bronze, you need to play carry roles imo : mid, jungle or adc. Also there's a lot of champions that are easier to play than Azir, and that carry harder than him.

I'm pretty sure its not the champion. I once had a 60% winrate with Azir and current my broken champion of choice is Kayle. And the problem with more popular stompers like Yi, Xin, Jax etc is they are highly contested/banned alot. I get the best results with Azir, Kayle and at one point I did fine with Irelia. Stopped doing well with her for some reason. I'm pretty sure I'm missing something else. Its not about the champs I use.

It's closed minded-ness like that which keeps people in low elos. You may be good with Azir/Kayle and none of us doubt you, but the fact is that some champions do well in low elos and some flourish in high elos.

Yi is a pubstomper in bronze-gold if you just faceroll.** An easy midlaner to pick up is Jayce, I recommend you try him. He can hard carry a game with the versatility he has, tank shred, high mobility, high poke, and most of his counters aren't played in lower elos such as bronze or silver.** I main him and even though I haven't gotten around to ranked on this account, he crushes people of bronze-gold skill levels. Try and open up your options more. If you get matched with feeders, then you need a champion who can carry or flat out push hard enough to win despite all of that.

tl;dr Good objective control is the key, but unfortunately Azir is not a champion you can climb out of 'elo hell' with effectively.

Fair enough. I'll try to spam Yi a couple games and tell you how it goes. He's quite popular down here so it might be difficult to get it most times.

Just keep your head up. If Yi gets chosen, just jump to another broken or easy-to-win as champion like Heimer, Darius, Garen, Blitzcrank, or Vayne. Vayne is absolutely disgusting with thunderlords + stattik. All you need to do is tumble the correct way and you win :-))))

lol....it just happened, someone banned Yi. Decided to pick another stomper, Pantheon. I got fed early and guess what happens. Every single lane fed more so than I was. It was so bad I couldn't even gank effectively because the laners were dying before I could get to the lanes every single time I start going to a lane. I couldn't even gank bot lane because the AD Carry would die before I could even pass the Raptors, EVERY SINGLE TIME!. I could only gank top all game because he would actually live long enough for me to reach the lane. My Mid laner was the same thing. I would get to lane just as he is about to die. I would kill or chase off the enemy mid laner, go back to base and hear him get another kill before I even cross our inner turret on my way back to the jungle, just fuckin ridiculous.

To be honest at this point, I give up.....The only proper way to rank is to do premades. I can't see this working solo. Bronze is a fuckfest of utter fuckin stupidity. Premades is the only cure to this I'm thinking now.

Thanks for taking the time to respond everyone.

That's the beauty of the new dynamic queue : riot just gave bronze scrubs (sorry for that) an easy way to get boosted out of their elo. Honestly, if you think this is your only way to get out of bronze, it's probably because you belong to bronze. It's not that hard to get out of it if your not dumb. You just have to carry the hell out of your teammates and end the game before the 30 min mark. You don't believe me? I ended silver4 in s5. Got bronze4 after placements. Now im silver 1 after a little more than 200 ranked games. If you ask to get boosted to silver, well, let me introduce you to the silver elo. It's even more disgusting to play in silver than playing in bronze. Why? Because the placement system is fked up for new players that have never played ranked before. If they win 2 games out of 10, theyre placed in silver 5 (3-4/10 : silver 4, 5-6/10 silver3, and so on). So in silver, there are a lot of little scrubs that dont even have 200 normal wins and play ranked, and get stomped every game and feed their a!s off. They are even harder to carry than bronze players, that actually have some experience into the game from demoting from silver. Conclusion : if you cant get out of bronze by yourself, you'll probably be stuck in silver more than you've ever been stucked in bronze. So now you may think : then why not get boosted to gold? Hmhmhmmhh. In gold elo, you start playing with and against people that are actually good at the game, those who will climb easily to high gold/low plat. So if you get there by being boosted, well, you'll get sh!t on, because you dont even have the skills to climb the bronze elo.

Sorry if that was rude, i just wanted to make things clear. TL;DR Git gud. Play alot of normals and try to learn every role decently.

Also, the thread i posted in my first comment isnt all about the "classic" stuff like you said. There's more. You probably didn't even read the third of it if you think it's classic stuff. By the way, if you don't have the "classic stuff" down, you definitely won't climb.

Thanks for your response but, honestly....I don't believe you. Its total bullshit when people say they can carry themselves out. The only people who can managed that are like Diamonds and Master players. It takes true fuckin talent. No average person can do that. The average player HAS to rely on luck to get a better team otherwise, there is absolutely nothing he can do when the feeding starts.

Nontheless, it doesn't matter anymore. I gave up. I'll play for playing sake and stop crying over this bullshit.

Lol. Do you know what lolskill or similar websites are? If not here are my stats for this season : http://www.lolskill.net/summoner/NA/Joe%20la%20frite/champions If that doesnt prove that ive carried myself out, i dont know what to tell you. I have 56% win rate over 200 games. I have over 60% win rate with the 2 champions ive played the most (close to 100 games each). I have close to 10 kills in average with them, and not more than 6 deaths in average. You think you need talent to get of bronze and silver? Not at all. You just need to be less dumb that all the dumb players in this elo. You think this is luck? I call it consistency. I literally played solo since the beginning of the season. Clearly you deserve your rank, if you cant stomp people that have no game sense.

Play assassins, like Kat and Talon and Yi(play him while devour is still OP). Bronze people don't respect the damage and mobility of assassins, so you can pretty much go legendary every game. This is also why 90% of the people complaining about assassins on the forum are in elo hell.
