Seriously how do you deal damage with Shaco?

I have zero clue, I followed Shaclone for months and I decided to try it for once, then I deal like 1/4 burst of his, while using the same build and combo, and no I didn't forget to backstab. Not even Shaclone, I mean every experienced Shaco player seems deal incredible amount of burst and I never know how that is possible..

there is 2 ways to play Shaco AP and AD Crit

AP : poke with E and when you go into team fight just R and Q out and let them kill your clone. :D AD Crit : it's bad way to play but just stab people in the back :D

You just need to practice animation cancelling. Something among the line of (Q)AA-Crescent-E-Smite-AA. One general tip I'd give is to try to position directly by your target in order to ensure you can use the full combo (this is important especially if they are mobile). Late game, your boxes become incredibly easy to kill before they even arm up, and they take up time from your assassination, so it's better to just not use them all together in 1v1's. Also, Shaco's burst before rank 5 E and Tiamat+ is very unreliable.

ad crit is like using rengar but stronger and you can take flash but a lot of shaco players will taker exhaust and smite. warriors raqpidfire or static u need one or the other, hydra and tri force why tri force because it procs off his q and ie and boom dead. shaco excels early game with ganks

Anyway, definitely go for Ignite/Smite on jungle Shaco; it aids your burst significantly at all stages of the game. As mentioned previously, animation cancelling is a big deal with Shaco, as it lets you Qaa > Hydra > E > aa > ignite as fast as possible. As far as damage goes, if you've been farming well and ganking a lot early, your mid-game burst should take at least 80% of a unit's HP, sometimes even 100% if it's a squishy who is underfed. Be sure to take Thunderlords on Shaco; the other masteries are situationally useful, but only Thunderlords actually increases your burst potential. Also, never use your box during an assassination attempt. It delays your damage by quite a bit due to its cast/arm time.

After the item cost changes I always finish my Warrior enchantment before anything else. The stats it grants in relation to its cost makes it extremely efficient, and Hydra is too expensive to be considered for a first item these days. Not only that, but Tiamat no longer passively cleaves, meaning it won't increase your clear speed significantly. I usually go Shiv as a second item for the burst and AOE damage. My third item is usually a Titanic Hydra, but you could also go Ravenous if it suits you; I simply prefer to build bruiser Shaco over the full AD variant. With those 3 items intact, your damage should be more than sufficient.

Be an opportunist. You wont be able to win a fair fight with most any other jungler. Always have a box handy, they deal a LOT of damage early game.

Lvl 2 ganks or invades are your friend.

Dont initiate with Q unless you know they have no flash or mobility spell, also dont waste the E active up close unless you need the extra damage.

runes ad marks, armor seals, mr or ap glyphs, attack speed or AD quints. i go 18-12-0 with ferver keystone now because my build is more of a tanky AA shaco but thats what i like now. 12-18-0 with thunderlords is good for full AD.

hopefully it helps, good luck with cheesing peoples
