Anivia's Crystallize (W)

I think a really cool buff would make Anivia's Crystallize (Ice Wall) to stop dashes and jumps that attempt to go through the wall. This will make Anivia's ice wall the power it once had all the way back in season 1 when there were not as many mobility creep'd champions.

that would be op giving anivia an azir ult on shorter cd

Not really and Anivia wall does not provide the CC and damage - but Riot has opened the gates to anti-mobility on basic spells, like event horizon this patch which is half the cooldown of anivia wall-- but the reason you think it is op is because the game is so mobility creep'd meaning we need more anti-mobility to bring these champions back in line and up to date --- which anivia's kit is really unique and solid and has varily good counterplay she is actually one of the more better designed and balanced champions, not to mention her skill cap is through the roof (hardest champion in the game to play, her basic attacks are pretty much included here too)

ok im willing to concede that mobility only if you are willing to concede some of anivia's damage in exgane for it. specifically reduce scaling of e.

she doesn't need any compensations, trying to fix the mobility creeping does not mean you need to nerf anivia - and the core element to Frostbite is that it critically strikes--- her damage is through the sustain damage of her ultimate

anivia is supposed to be an immobile dps zone control mage. i am willing to accept her having a burst because the range is so low in comparison with other dps mages.however you want to make her zone control go through the roof. if her damage does not go down she will have a higher win rate than sej. im not saying take it to the ground to be useless just like a 5-10% reduced scaling when criting.

No, she will perform the same task, it won't put her through the roof - Crystallize got a mana cost buff awhile back but through out the seasons ice wall has been getting nerfed over and over because of the mobility being added - Ice Wall was never intended to be nerfed, the game indirectly did it, so adding anti-mobility will put her up to date and it is not like you cannot go around the wall or use natural terrain to dash over- anti-mobility will make the spell perform what it is suppose to perform

Want to know a thing? I'm with you on this - to actually giving SOME power back to the wall (maybe not what you're proposing, as a non-ultimate ability with that side-effect would be too much), i don't even know exactly which buff to go with, but in the everyday LoL the Wall is lacking :/

It has the longest cooldown in her kit and longest rank 5 basic spell minus hawkshot which is a scout tool, which i do use ice wall as a scout tool more often than an actual wall because it gives off massive vision around it and even more as you rank the spell up---

the reason to why i don't think adding an anti-mobility effect to it would make her op is because back in season 1 that is what the spell did was anivia walls someone off to stop their path or they flash over it --- plus i'm pretty sure riot would be on board for adding more anti-mobility (which they stated recently) and they finally added the anti-dash / jump mechanic to event horizon which is half the cooldown of ice wall

azirs ulti i already feel is op becuase it stops dashes. it would be horrible of anivias skill did this too. you cant get within half a screen of azirs turret in mid lane after he gets 6 becuase he will use his ulti to knock ypou backwards into turret range and block the way out. its a pretty freaking cheap way to kill someone

except anivia's wall does not have cc or damage, and azir's ultimate is an ultimate--- anivia's wall is suppose to be used for stopping someone in their tracks and cutting them off, an anti-mobility effect will help the ice wall come back to this moment

you are not considering the medium mobility champs that this effects such as graves, poppy and alike people with one mobility skill who the wall can reck now.

poppy either gets to anivia or she doesnt--- offensively it doesnt change poppy at all nor defensively, and marksmen lose to anivia because of her attack speed debuff, not because of an ice wall
