They would rather die with their pride. The only way SoloQ is coming back is if Marc stepped in personally and put a stop to the team behind dynamicQ and ordered the DQ project shut down. And he already said he would do that as an absolute last minute resort is all else fails.

Would, that would require Dynamic Queue to actually fail.

So far, it's been received well as % Of Ranked Players has went up, AND the added benefit of Toxicity going down. That's two HUGE Wins for Riot.

Now, they DO have issues with Queue Time and Fair Match Making at HIGH ELO that they have to work on. They need great improvement there, and the hot fix they are doing with the Auto Fill isn't the right answer there. But we are talking like 10% of the Player Base when we discuss that.

For the other 90%, Lower Toxicity and More Ranked Players means nothing but good things to Riot.

Because More Players, especially Ranked Players who get a more emotional attachment to Pro Teams (because they share the Competitive aspect) means MORE VIEWERS... and the entire ESports Industry is about to get paid more off Viewership than In Game Sales and Live Tournaments (Non-Televised).
