Honestly, the nerf won't have much of an effect. She will still snowball hard. It may set her back a minute or two.

Remember what happened when vi lost 15 seconds on her rank 1 ult? She basically completely disappeared from pro play after a long period of dominance. Riven is losing 20 seconds on her rank one. It will definitely have a huge effect because she will get 1-3 less early game ults which means she'll be behind where she is now. Taking 300+ gold away from free AD steroid execute kills can only hurt her.

No reason to party. These nerfs are worth about 1 year. Then Riven is going to be as strong as she is right now again (relatively to the other champions) - which is still not OP, but enough to trigger the fotm. See ya in one year. Simple nerfs have never fixed any true problem that isn't that a champion is simply overtuned (like Lux is btw).

40% cdr including masteries and runes.

130secs + cdr = 78 seconds. Oh I forgot, remove another 20 sec because her ult's cd starts immediately after pressing ult once. so that will be 58 sec. Now she kills you with ult and comes back into lane. Oh wait lets say 30-40 secs she has to wait to all in you. Live can potentially be 20-30 secs.

This is just level 1 ult that is going to be a nerf. Imagine her cd now.

If you really want to nerf her, just make her ult's cd start after her ult duration is done and make the cd timer 130.

EDIT: if she uses her ult, the cd will remain the same for example. Her ult is 130 secs. After her sword becomes broken, she has 130 secs cd. MB for the mix up. Just tested now

Actually it lasts 12 seconds, and it's probable that she'd kill before half the duration is up unless you're smart/tanky as hell.

The actual ult lasts for 15 secs. You can see this on her ult. Her cd is not effected by her ult meaning if her ult is on a 130 sec cd, once her sword becomes broken i.e. not being in ult form, her ult cd will be 130 secs. Sorry for mix up.

I remember last time they nerfed Riven by taking down her base MS and the speed of her ultimate's execute. Her win rate actually increased after them.
