It really doesn't help the game now that adc is the "Fill" position.

The writing is on the wall.

ADC, the most game bending position for feast or famine gameplay, is now like 40% of the "Fill" Game positions.

I used to "Fill" almost exclusively because I knew:

About 70% are Support fills About 20% are Jungle About 5% are Top About 3% are Mid About 2% are Bot

Now it's significantly flipped.

Now you get :

Adcs who are rolling Support because they believe they can play the non pressure part of the bot lane now that they are failing as adcs (ie Support's 70% has been reduced to about a 30-40% fill rate) Overabundance of Fills being placed adc so they do not know what they are doing (me being one) (probably 30%) Massive overqueue for mid. (maybe 0% from Fill) Maybe 10% Jungle. About 25% Top.

I know riot wanted to offer players adc balance, but they need to rush to do something to get adc players back in their role.

Like maybe not ruin an entire class of champions? What a novel idea.

I'm not even really playing the game. It's just not enjoyable to play my favorite champs so theres no motivation to even play the game. They did such a good job alienating the entire ADC main membership. I'd honestly like to see the statistics from riot and know how many players they lost and/or how many have just flat out abandoned the role as a lost cause. Especially since their buffs on the PBE are garbage

This is overall a good thing that makes perfect sense.

Why would Bot be more popular that a solo role where you get full exp, and thus more power throughout the game? It was only popular because it was broken, and now that it's balanced, it shows that being dependent on your lane partner is simply less fun than being independent.

The only reasons adc waas strong bot was because enchanter sups were strong and IE was a massive power spike even if you bought it first item. but now that enchanters are weaker and IE is a terrible first buy (except for a fed tryndamere) it means lock down or burst/ poke supports are strong and adc are even weaker early, so anything that can play really agro with one of those types of sups (cough**coughmordekaisercough**cough) are taking over bot lane. The only uneffected marksmen are the ones like lucian, corki, or kaisa who didn't rush crit, I feel kalista would be good now too since she usually likes a mix of on hit and crit and has high mobility and works well wwith lock down supports but she just keeps getting nerfed do to pro play.

Probably will have to expand your playlist beyond marksmen for Bot. And Bot is a location, roles are flexible. Learn matchups, comps, win conditions, etc. and more fun awaits.

I usually get filled Jungle or support or bot , never got autofilled mid or top

I use bot secondary all the time and mid and primary. In the times ive gotten the secondary its been 2 out of 10 games and the times i get bot i didnt get auto fill protected unlike if i set support i will get autofill protected. How is it a "fill" position.
