Why would anyone want to watch LCS when stopwatch exists?

Why ever try and make a play or dive when that item makes things too uncertain and is absolutely free due to a rune that nearly everyone takes?

Hell why even play half of the league's roster when that item exists?

Want to interact with the enemy gp? Good luck

Want to interact with the enemy vladimir? Good luck

Want to interact with the enemy xerath? Good luck

Want to interact with the (insert hypercarry here) with relic shield and stopwatch? Good luck

Stopwatch is the epitome of forcing people to restrain themselves from interaction. It's not a healthy item at all and most certainly not healthy to be placed on a rune for free.

I like the fact stopwatch exist, it makes the game slower and nicer to watch

Why would you ever watch LCS ever since season 5? Even without Stopwatch, they are too afraid to risk anything... especially because of the increase in damage across all classes, to the point where everything can burst you...

i think stop watch might be the worse thing to ever happen to this game. It literally prevents people from playing aggressive and trying to make plays. Hence why lcs matches are much longer than solo que matches.

Want to interact with them? Go ahead, blow their stopwatch, then back off. Boom. Sure, you may be down an ult (But not any summs, if you were smart), but they're down a literally irreplaceable tool. You've won that trade. Congratz. Now you can interact with them!

And I wouldn't call something on one of your runes free. You're giving up a lot of potential power for it.

you mean why should anybody watch LCS while junglers are STILL TOO overbearing. nobody wants to do anything when junglers can just 1 shot them if they're out of position.

huh, i remember when people complained that LCS was too one sided because jungler and mid would just gang bang bot/top under turret everytime and that there is no way to prevent that, or that the game was snowballing too fast because it was so easy to kill. Just shows you cant please everyone when now you get an item that helps against dives (only ONCE in the entire game) and slows the pace of laning phase.

Why even watch lcs/proplay? It's the most boring part about league for a few years. They play to win and so they have to play very defensive because of the massive damage riot puts in the game.
