Increase it by a LOT. It should be like a 15-20 second CD at least, used offensively or defensively. Also reduce the ms boost when eating an ally, it's a 2 for 1 save when he eats them and gets a free ghost to run out.

30 seconds is what I was thinking.

I think 30 seconds would be good but so Tahm's solo lane/jungle isn't gutted the cooldown could be reduced by X seconds if he executes a unit. Maybe like 10 - 15 seconds for champion executed and 8 - 12 seconds for a big jungle monster executed.

I was thinking more if you get 4 stacks of your passive, the cooldown is chunked down.

I was thinking about increasing stacks, but I think increasing cd's is better. The main thing I noticed in a 1v1 against a champ as tanky as Tahm, is in the extended fights with the extreme damage and cc potential of devour to stretch it out even longer just isn't fair.

You could make it take 5 stacks and it would still be up as quickly. I'd rather punish the spammy nature, not the ease of use.

25 is the standard for gamechanging basics- Anivia W, yasuo w, and this should be on that level.

Now, the current CD is fine for if he uses it on a minion, but, yeah.

Have it get different cooldowns based on it's use. Or remove the bonus MS you get from using Devour on an ally.

I already suggested this, with it's cooldown being reduced on enemy or minion/monster use

Cooldown of devour assuming you can target an ally, wich is literally a mini zhonya should be increased cooldown , Master Yi meditate, for exemple only reduce damage and heal, you can still be targetted have 30 seconds cooldown and its for him, so à spell who can change the tide of à fight , like deny Zed ult entirely , Yasuo last breathe , etc , i beleive the cooldown is to low, you cant even cleanse or QSS it. Cooldown increase please.

You can cleanse and qss it actually.

Yet when i tried i couldnt like i was silenced, i wasnt able to take any actions

You can't cleanse it, just like every other suppress, but QSS works.

might be bugged or something. Its been a while since I've gone up vs TK since most of the time I am TK or he's just banned. but I've had a few people qss out and on 1 occasion a fiora took cleanse vs me top and she just destroyed me because of it.

It isn't a mini-zhonyas. People in Tahm's devour are, at best, a mini-Vlad pool. They receive 0 immunity, but they just cannot be hit/targeted by new effects.

For example, Tahm eating an ally will not save them from ignite, or a zed death mark that already had damage on it, or a Teemo shroom that already exploded, etc.

Edit: also, it can be escaped with qss and gangplank oranges. Spell shields also block it, although there is a strange interaction that I think would be good to fix where it doesn't go on cooldown if it is used against a spell shield.

It's not comparable to Zhonya's but a mini Vlad pool? It's a massively better Vlad pool. It lasts much, much longer and can cover soooooooo much more distance.

In light of OFA having come and gone, what Tahm Kench's kit needs rebalanced with is a cooldown on his passive like Braum's so that getting the passive stacked isnt an automatic death sentence in a teamfight. Now of course this matters less in normal games with only a single Tahm licking people, but if Braum isn't able to permastun people with his passive then using nearly the same mechanic should at least have the same drawbacks.

BigBearBoí1 votes

Except of course, that it's Tahm that needs to apply the stack in Tahm's case, and anyone in Braum's case.

AhhShucks1 votes

If you lane against him with a poke support instead of a tanky all in support you will feel like Tahm does absolutely nothing in bottom lane and is the most pointless Champ ever.

Remove the "MS buff half effective running away", remove the ability for Tahm to flash when he eats a teammate suddenly slow ass Tahm can be caught forcing the carrys summoners at the least

rG Thundrag1 votes

I'd like a timer countdown of his passive debuff like other stack mechanics so I know when its actually going to wear off. Even darius bleed tells you when it expires

Increase the cooldown on devour if used on ally. Remove the movespeed boost when running away (keep the boost when running toward an enemy) Any popped projectiles retarget Tahm Make it so he can't Q while eating something Make his ult passive damage only apply to autoattacks fully, half damage on Q+W Have grey health cap at 40% hp at rank 1, putting levels in it raises it to 100%. Make the shield decay exponentially.

That's what I'd do to Tahm.

I've been saying this since his release.

You can't raise the cooldown without destroying his laning, since it's his primary damage ability in top lane. It really deserves the label of great design.
