8th Item Inventory?
I was thinking we should have an 8th item inventory for wards or elixirs. Anyone agree?

Definitely not for elixirs, considering the power boost they give that can be significant. They're treated just like potions, and need to take up a slot.
As for wards...? We already kind of have a trinket slot that was added specifically for that. If you want more wards, you can either upgrade the trinket or buy wards in your normal inventory.
shrugs
But it's a good question to ask. Maybe there's a different angle to look at?
Maybe after level 15-18, when everyone's full build, you can buy a tier 3 upgrade for your ward slots that's basically equivalent to a sightstone, allowing everyone to supply enough vision (and sweeper lens) without sacrificing item slots needed for combat.
Well yea, wards are really important because vision control is crucial. However I wouldn't want to delete my
for a sightstone or 3 wards. I really like the idea of a 3rd upgrade for the trinket, and the counter is a 3rd upgrade sweeper lens. Definatly, if this were to be implemented it would be more objective focused
Heh. Imagine if they lowered the level requirement for second tier trinket and deleted sightstone.
People would hate it, but they'd have to contribute to vision instead of yelling at the support to do so.
That's actually a great idea. Warding should be not only a support thingy.
It's not, but sightstone makes people think it is. People just find excuses to never buy wards.
I think we should have an extra slot for boots.
As in you don't want the extra slot for wards or another slot for boots? I like the idea though

I'm not sure if an extra slot is necessary for wards now that we have
providing so many. Players can buy actual wards in mid/early game, when they have slots available, and upgrade their trinkets as soon as possible. Sweepers are most popular on junglers and supports, who can opt to buy Sightstone if they think their allies' wards won't be enough. I do think that Ruby Sightstone should be a good item in its own right (it's currently garbage in terms of stats), but that's a topic for another thread.
Boots are currently similar to old/pre-trinket wards in the way they're used— they get phased out of most champions' builds in the late game when more expensive movement speed options can be afforded. Players want movement speed; players want wards. Trinkets provide an efficient source of wards that don't take up inventory space; boots end up being sold because even though their MS is crucial, they simply don't provide enough stats to be worth keeping in the late game.
