Anyone have advice on using him in solo queue? I can get past him being one of the worst in class for early game, and having no self-peel with no escape, because the payoff is his ridiculously powerful ultimate. But that ultimate is only really useful if his team initiates properly (good luck getting that communication in solo queue). Otherwise, they'll just peel off the second you pop ult.
Any thoughts on the matter?
Nautoday2 votesIf you're worried about getting bursted the second a fight breaks out, you should try to show up a couple seconds late to the fight, so everyone's CC is on cooldown when you show up.
I went against a Twitch that always showed up 3 or 4 seconds after the fight. We were like, "Okay, focus Twitch." A fight would break out and I would be searching for Twitch, never found him, so attacked someone else, and then before you know it, bam. Twitch got a Quadrakill.

I try that but the second I reveal with Spray and Pray, everyone just disengages the fight until my ultimate wears off. This is a consistent problem.

Obviously it'd be best to be with someone who could protect you, but if that isn't working...

Nobody ever groups in solo queue. You always have one player farming a side lane regardless of circumstance. Makes it really hard to get a good ult off when I'm constantly unable to join teamfights without them either rolling me over because 0 peel or disengaging because 0 initiation.

I often do pick up picks but the whole point of Twitch is late game, and people don't seem to ever play like he exists, which squanders his would-be strength.
