As a tank I think it would be helpful to know if your armor or mr has been shredded. A lot of new players who haven't studied all these champions spells etc. May think of fighting a certain champion thinking they can 1v1 them since they've itemized resistances that counter them. but are left wondering how they just got obliterated. Maybe have a subtle on screen text that says something along the lines of resistances have been reduced. Preferably one word. Like when janna knocks you up with her tornado its written knocked up on screen.

Defenses weakened/shredded. or something. armor reduced mres reduced. or Shredded in yellow for armor Shredded in blue for magic resist

Not sure about magic resist but for armor shred you get a red circle like thing under your champion. You can see it whenever but black cleaver or jarvan4 q are probably the most common shreds that makes it visible.

There could however be a good argument that it is not visible enough.

K didn't notice it. I also play at a low resolution though maybe that's why I don't see it. I'll look for it next time I face blackcleaver or j4/wukong/xin zhao….
