@Riot What're your thoughts on skarner? Is there potential for changes to him in the future?

I've made one thread, and I will make many more until I figure out what's goin on with this champion. He feels awful at the moment. He ain't weak, but he ain't exactly in a good spot in the way he feels to play. See the link for more details.

From an update thread 2 months ago, one of you said "Ideally, the actual near future, yes" http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/developer-corner/T5MTYIIt-followup-skarner-juggernaut-update

Nothing has been done, no PBE changes, no news about adressing his horrid, binary passive. It's been 2 months, I'd say that counts as the "near future". You don't have to be working on him now, you don't have to work on him ever. I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF YOU ARE! So I'm not clinging to false hope for a change that will never come.

Rework his passive. It is nothing that gives him some sort of strength when he needs them. You cant force the enemies to fight into his crystal shards. Give him rather some better bases

Pretty much the moral of my wall of text in my other thread. The issue is, for it to go. Something better must replace it. But that obviously needs to; A fit him thematically, B feel satisfying, C relatively easy to balance and D not be a re skin of an already existing passive.

And personally I preferred his old passive. Only 2 other champions have movement halts (Braum and naut). But to re introduce that they will have to revert 4 spells total; his Q, E, R and passive. And we all know how willing riot is to admit mistakes and revert a failed change, don't we? His old passive was fine. How on earth do these stupid spires make him more like a juggernaut?

I want him to use his stinger for more than just his ult.

he used to. His old passive, if you proced it 3 times with spells his next aa would utilise his stinger to stun them just like the new E. Only it wasn't reliant on a slow projectile and limited by it's expiration time.
