Dope Solo1 votesTruth is different than significance. Because certainly, being vulnerable to CC doesn't make Riven unique in any way, nor can it be considered specific counterplay when it effects most champs equally.
Accursêd1 votesshe is also immune to poke with her e being an AD scaling shield on a 3.6 second cooldown, and even lower when you press R because of the spear of shojinn passive (old essence reaver passive)
also shes an abuser of conqueror and every champ that uses that rune can burn in hell

She is pretty much immune to slows thanks to the ability to spam dashes which do not take movement speed into account, so if anything she is more resistant to cc than most champions in the game.
Her defensive utility is tied to her mobility as well, if you hard CC her, if affects her even more than other camps.
