Can we please add some counter play to Varus mid that doesn't require you to be Zed?

Being able to wave clear/poke from a safe range, then transition into a hyper carry during the late game is pretty dumb. There's no real trade off here.

Get this shit out of mid. Double ADC comps are cancer.

He has no escape so he is an easy target to gank. Someone like Viktor can counter push and can poke well. When it comes to all in he comes ahead.

He doesn't need to leave his tower to CS. The only gank that can happen is a full on tower dive.

Someone like Zac, Reksai can ruin his day. As long as you freeze a lane near your turret, he has no business on a midlane.

The game in question.

You realize that not a single person on your team had armor, right? The only people who built a single armor item were Thresh (Glacial Shroud) and Riven (Guardian Angel).

It would not have been a bad idea to purchase a Chain Vest or Seeker's Armguard at some point and just sit on it for the rest of the game. Considering Varus was building Armor Pen while you had no additional armor, you really shouldn't be surprised that you were getting chunked.

Also, your team was a double ADC composition that team too. The main difference is that the enemy team had Sion and Zilean to protect their ADCs while your team just had Thresh.

He has mana issues early game and as any other ADC - is really vulnerable to anything that does damage. As a mage farm until you have good burst and go in on him, or wait for jungler since you say he clears waves alone so he must be pushing.

His mana issues are solved by the time he reaches level 6. Even if he dies pre-6, he can just farm to catch up soon after. His wave clear out-ranges most mages capable of bursting him, and a mixture of his ult and E prevent anything from getting in range of him.
